They used to specifically call out the "trans-woman" or "trans-man" qualifiers in their articles, but have increasingly been leaving that out. Now, when you hear one of the usual outlets talk about "Violence In Women's Prisons" or "Epidemic Of Assault In (insert situation here)" you have to really pay attention. Especially if it's a situation where you normally don't hear about women committing these atrocities, because it almost invariably ends up being a troon. Oftentimes it seems they only call a spade a spade when one of them does something especially unforgivable, like a mass killing, school shooting, etc. Then the social contract of pronoun respect and not "misgendering" falls by the wayside pretty goddamn quickly.
