Many people have been asking that lately. In a post yesterday, he said, "I am strongly Zionist, something very dangerous to say in my line of work." He banned anyone who asked which line of work that is.

Funny how if someone even remotely suggests that he doesn't know much about cars or games, he will immediately trot out his porsche collection or princess peach speedrun. But ask what his line of work is, and he has no answer. But the thing is, he does have a job, and that is being the executive director of a PAC. He just doesn't want to do that job, so he made up a health scare to avoid it.

Despite how many times he keeps yammering about how good he looks (when he's filtered out the ass), we all know he's self-conscious about his appearance. Going under the knife for a face lift or to try and stave off his male pattern baldness would be consistent with his behavior, and hiding it under the guise of a medical emergency gives him several months to hide while he heals.

If there is something medical happening, this is a pretty solid guess. He's definitely been more focused on his appearance lately, and I can see him wanting to up his troon game given he's been tearing into other troons lately. The fact more people are calling him out on being a troon is only adding to all his insecurities. It'd also explain why he was being silent for once, since John isn't exactly known for keeping things private.
