Not that I know. I'm surprised that they are adoring her though. I can see that they would due to her mental health advocacy crap, but I'd assume that due to her advocating weight loss she'd be on their bad side for body shaming.

Influence. It's not hard to look online to find proof Wu is the (d)evolved form of John Walker Flynt, who regardless of birth origin and gender (is Wu still rolling with the 'adopted baby girl' bullshit over the truth of being born a man?) crowed about a childhood of unimaginable wealth both real and imagined (particularly the part about getting the PSX dev kit before the age of ten at a time when the American economy was still recovering from the Video Game Crash).

Because between that shit and the legal records of failed ventures aplenty, John's ass was bailed out by his wealthy parents a dozen or so times only to see him land right back into more money troubles that said parents funded. Said family also had enough connections to land John that temp position in the Republican party at one point.

So either John's stupidity OR the fact this could jeopardize the credibility and influence the Flynt family actually has in politics at some minor level will cause some serious fireworks. Plus I don't think Wu realizes what happens if they actually win - which is hours of sitting on their ass with other politicians for hours on end talking about actual legal policy, without being able to just up and ignore it all with several thousand rounds of Candy Crush on the iphone. Oh and there was the one time a Senator got the shit beat out of him by another one with his bare hands, that's always possible.

You can be a do-nothing House member - see my cite a page or two back. But even in a solid blue state, you'll fail out of politics for it pretty quickly.

Oh and there was the one time a Senator got the shit beat out of him by another one with his bare hands, that's always possible.

You can be, and Michael Huffington is definitely a good example of that, but if you're actively endangering what would usually be a safe seat, and John would definitely do that, they are going to fuck your shit up and hard.
