Does Frank know other rich people?

I assume he does, as if nothing else, rich people always have hangers on.
Sometimes these are not as rich people looking to enrich themselves further.

I wonder what they think of John?

Not even that. Therapy can be as little as once a month. The counseling 'hour' is fifty minutes. Five either end is allowed for arrival/settling in and conclusions/refocus/departure. He might have had to lie for a whole two and a half hours.

ETA: I'm sure Frank moves in some moneyed circles. How many of them know the truth about his 'wife' is debatable. You know if he was taking John around these people that John would not be able to resist bragging about the science events, dinners and parties he was back channeling at. John never talks about Frank unless he can use Frank to aggrandise himself. Plus I doubt the higher echelons of corporate medical research are fully captured by the trans narrative. Sure, they'll develop drugs and surgeries to make money off them, but I don't think they believe TWAW or TMAM.
Finally, and I think most importantly, Frank is so deep in the closet that he's practically in Narnia.

My limited but professional experience of wealthy people, as in proper never having to worry short of regime change and serious entire western world in open conflict level, is that they do make sure they know all they can about people in their lives.
Including finding out about spouses and partners, even if they are probably not going to meet them or deal with them short of a few hellos and introductions.

They will at least be aware that John is a troon, makes crazy claims, and was involved in gamergate.

Maybe there is some kind of unspoken rule not to talk about John around Frank, as they will know how closeted he is too.

These people can be really selective about who gets near them of course, but anyone with serious money is normally tolerated unless they are seriously toxic or in major problems with public scandals.

I should think they also have mechanisms in place to ensure they are not associated with Frank if John gets them both dragged into something uber insane.

Frank's people who deal with security, PR and other things which wealthy people have to have concern of this nature about are undoubtely aware if there is some sort of keep John at a distance and kid gloves with Frank rule, so they likely also work with this rule.

For whatever reason though, they don't seem to be filtering John's social media, so maybe their escape plan is for Frank to ditch John entirely if shit blows back?

Frank Wu is a patent lawyer who probably makes like 200k a year. He's upper middle class rich, not Illuminati-teaparty-with-the-queen rich. Many eccentric nerds are in this social class.
Also since trannery is expensive, most troons come from wealthier backgrounds.

He's not exactly a low level patent agent. He has held some pretty prominen positions, and he has a Ph.D. in bacterial genetics and is a senior director for intellectual property at something called Wave. John routinely falsely claims he's a lawyer, though.

For a while I've wondered if he actually made some money off of the bitcoin he had. He mentioned making a bit of money from holding bitcoin some years ago.

Someone should contact him and claim to be a kidnapped jew in Iran and he would like to donate to the Wu-cause, but from the muslim rape-dungeon he can only send money through bitcoin... Find his wallet and see what its been up to over the years.
