You’re right, though, this was about reinventing Brianna Wu from a failed video game developer with a subpar game and bankrupt studio into Brianna Wu the feminist tech candidate for Congress. It’s embarasing how transparent this scam was and yet really dumb people continue to buy into it and donate money.

At least the DSA and local dems/political workers knew Brianna Wu was running a joke scampaign.
