Broken phone screen is a tell of low IQ

doubly so when they're apple users. they buy technologically inferior products as a status symbol but can't even keep their shit safe

I dropped my old iPhone 8 (inherited from my uncle), like, a billion times until the home button stopped working and the entire bottom half of the screen was consumed by dead pixels. Still rocked that poor thing for two more years before it finally died for good, because it sent texts fine and I sure as hell wasn't shelling out two weeks' wage for a new brainrot device.

What I'm saying is that this is a classist take and you need to Do Better. My IQ is in the high thousands btw.

Someone should honestly do a study on cracked phone screens and IQ. It doesn't even really correlate with being conscientious since I literally just chuck my phone at a wall sometimes when I'm on thrashing to rock. Like seriously, you can absolutely mistreat a phone with a case and a screen protector but people just insist on going naked and having them break.
When you buy anything else do you put on a cover so shit doesn't break through normal use?

A thing should fulfil its purpose out of the box. I find cheaper phones do this better. Tried to resist getting a cover and screen protector for my shitty samsung s23. But the outside is made of fancy frictionless glass, with sharp corners that hurt your fingers when you death grip it so it doesnt fall out of your hands. The screen had some sort of soft retarded coating that wore off against the fabric in my pocket in a few months. Now I have a screen protector on to hide the worn spot and a cover that has some friction but I don't like it.

I have a $15 phone I got at the dollar store and I wouldn't buy a new one unless I absolutely had to. I'm guessing the retards who spend thousands on theirs just can't afford it.
