This is really pathetic. It's hard to read. Though that's probably because I find Chris more depressing than entertaining nowadays.
Still, if he manages to go to this convention, there could be some entertaining shenanigans between him and the horse fans.

He's going to tell the VAs and writers about Celestia commanding them to continue the show for 5 more seasons isnt he?
Apparently the woman who created this whole series for Hasbro back in the 80s will be there, and all I can say is if Chris manages to talk to her and ask her something about the celestia demanded seasons or the merge all I can imagine is the old lady thinking..."my God what have I done?" And cursing the day she even brought her idea to the Hasbro board of directors all those years ago.

The Pickle Palace isn't a place of public lodging.
Say that 5 times fast.

No but seriously It's funny he's trying so damn hard but hasn't found any results yet, usually something would pop up for him before total meltdown. Was he aware you were in that area and seriously planned to ask you that already, or do you think he's reading these threads hoping to find the golden "I would give Chris $600 if he colored 1 more page" comment? Either way, the stu-ress of having to actually plan this instead of watching cartoons must be killing him.

Honestly though there is only a single thing I can think of that would stop him from actually making it there, Barb could die in the next 3 weeks. Other than that I doubt he'd miss it, he'd probably blow off a court date to be there.

Why is a cartoon pony convention so expensive anyway?

(I've never been to any kind of convention so maybe I'm missing something.)

Well it does all add up, doesn't it;

Personal Costs:
- Hotel Cost
- Travel Cost
- Basic food+drink
- Occasional meal-out
- Merch
- Socialising costs (drinks, etc)

Ticket prices:
- Location Cost
- Staff Cost
- Security Cost
- Administration Costs (covering planning and logistics)
- Amenity Costs (electricity, etc)

Doesn't him and Barb just have the one vehicle now? I can't imagine Barb is gonna let him go without a fight.

This presents an interesting hypothetical: he takes the van regardless and it breaks down halfway to Baltimore. What does he do? Beg, obviously. But he sure as shit would still want to get to the last ebber Bronycon. Does he push on and abandon the van, getting a lift from some sperg? Does he stress sigh and turn back? Start walking for Baltimore before collapsing after a few miles?

I'm not sure there's a precedent for something like this, but Chris is pretty fucking determined when he wants something bad enough. I would half expect him to just abandon the fucker and try to hitch a ride, but I dunno if he has the balls (lol) for it.

Lolno. Not a snowball's chance in hell. He asked too. The Pickle Palace isn't a place of public lodging. (Because then I couldn't discriminate against autists.)
Is Chris still uncomfortable with pickles?
If Chris doesn't have the to there, he could ask Jacob for sponsorship, in exchange of dirty clothing.
Annur' option, set-up tent near the convention building but the law enforcer might think he's a homeless person. Or sleep in the car (if he has one, idk)

What about that douchebag that gave him $1200 in a failed attempt to troll him last year? Or that one chick that put 500 or 600 dollars in his Patreon in an attempt to get in his good graces?

He asked too.
Expect a knock on your door if he doesn't get the money.

I'm going to be honest (autistic) and crunch the numbers for you.
A 4 day regular pass is 74.86. This gives you basic access with no perks.
A 4 day "plus" pass is 150.00~. This gives you access, but with promo materials.
This "plus" pass has already sold out, and so we have just the 4 day regular.
There are other pass options but none of them are really applicable as Chris does not fit their standards (or price ranges)

It's a 4 day event, so assume a 4 night stay in Baltimore, where the average hotel goes for 112$ a night.
74.86 Pass.
448.00 (Average)-Hotel Stay.

With that, we are already at 522.86$

This is not including food, gas, souveniers etc (which Chris will most certainly need/want.)

To further add numericals to the value, the drive from Sonichu HQ to the convention is about 150 miles, so I'd estimate about...1.5-2 gas trips there and back assuming Gas Mileage at 20 Gallon Capacity (going rate for gas about 2.87 per gallon) about 86.10$- 114.80$ in gas.

The total so far is 608.96-637.66$

Food in the Baltimore area varies depending on the area where you purchase, for 4 days (not including drive up and back) this can be from 40$~160$ for 4 days.

The total so far is 648.96$~797.66$.

Merchandise sold at stands is often upcharged due to the nature of the buyer, so anything from 5~100 (Per piece) assuming Chris wants 5 things, we'll average it to be about... 20$ each, for an estimated $100.

So the complete total ranges from 748.96$ ~ 897.66$.

Ultimately, what we can take away from these calculations is that Chris essentially wants someone not to pay for the full of his experience, but to make ease of his situation. Whatever the 600$ can't cover, he'll use his own funds to cover.

Tl;dr
He can obviously get there himself, he just wants someone to make it easier on himself so he doesn't have to spend all that money on the things he desires.
He will most likely "room share" with someone [like last year] to cut the hotel cost, and likewise be that guy who eats food that is ordered for everyone, but doesn't pitch in for its cost. If he cannot find a "room share" then his back up plan is to have someone "donate" money to make it easier.

The winning situation in Chris' scenario: "He gets donated 600$, and gets a room to share. 'The money is mine to keep.'"
So please, sincerely, DO NOT GIVE MONEY TO CHRIS. He will most likely Room Share and run off with the money that you've given to "help" him.
