$ (BTC) The Bitcoin Thread - NO SHITCOINERS ALLOWED

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
What do you mean? I am Out of the Loop.
Well, due to their projections being ass-wrong, and the 'predilections' of God's Chosen-
I was making a conspiracy-joke about Corona being their Plan B, for killing BTC.

However, criminalizing BTC around the globe, seems to be their next idea...

(because making something illegal makes it go DOWN, right?)

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

T-time to buy the dip, right my fellow day traders??
Don't buy more than you could hold for a prolonged period (in BTC terms a year or two). It's gone into these plunges without recovering for another several months or longer repeatedly. Each one still ends up higher than the peak of the last surge. You can also set triggers on most exchanges for a sale or purchase triggered by a price, high or low.

This could save you missing your preferred price point especially when exchanges have a suspicious habit of suddenly delaying transactions when the price is going fucky.

They only need to hit enter/exit ramps and stablecoin issuers through de-banking, mandate custodial KYC wallets and then monitor blockchain for illegal transactions. Maybe, hit mining operation with carbon credits bullshit, divestment and rejecting their loan applications (like what they try to do with oil&gas industry right now). It's not that difficult, really. How many of you know how to safely convert cash to BTC and vice versa (significant sums especially) in your area without leaving paper trail? How many of local businesses accept BTC without L2 (which is centralized) faggotry?
On the other hand, low price of BTC will drive out dudebros and may increase decentralization in mining or stimulate the grow of parallel economy :optimistic:. Although, transparent blockchain would still be a pain in the ass BUY XMR
P.S. For those of you who still hold their coins on exchanges or tethered - you're NGMI. If liquidity crisis hits, you'll get MtGox'd, plain and simple.

Everyone knows you're practically safer with your coin on a gambling site than on an exchange, but in either case, if you don't hold the private key, you DO NOT OWN the Bitcoin.

I hope someone finds an actual use for NFTs just so they continue pissing off the kind of people who have no idea what they are but have been told grift token bad.
Seriously, dude. Being a J.D. with more internet knowledge than 99%+ of your peers...
...You should get in on the ground floor re: legal protection/registration of NFTs.

Start a firm - lobby the SEC for taxation and registration of NFTs (the Gvmt won't protect what it can't tax).

Imagine being the ONLY firm in the US legally allowed to register and track ownership of NFTs.
You would make a KILLING.
