Actually, while I think at some point I was a bit too harsh on the guy for his christianity-related controversy, since it can be said that the reason Hartman didn't adress LGBT stuff, was because he didn't want to make controversy/take it seriously (and it's not nearly as worth to nitpick him for stuff such as his conception of introverts, as someone like John K.), it's kin, Butch's reactions to our thoughts were really mean. And despite PieGuy's conspiracy theory about Butch turning others to Christians being really lame, even though I really like PieGuy's videos, I can't blame most of you for thinking Butch was a terrible guy.
I mean, the way I see it, he may not be a scam artist, but he is someone who is way too ambitious about his projects (to the point he thinks he can do no wrong, since he made two childhood shows), and can't handle properly accusations against him, whether they are true or not.
Now, about Oaxis itself, I think it will be a failure. Like, this guy is really pushing himeslf way too hard to make all sorts of content, instead of starting by making small steps, like Walt Disney f.e., which would be really advisable, since by doing otherwise, he just gives us the impression he wants to make the new Netflix overnight. Which is a shame, since his intentions of making a streaming service which could be really supportive to its customers is really good (even if you could argue that Netflix is also really supportive).
Overall, I regard Butch as a brilliant animator, whose confidence after being respectful to the animation industry people, just grew too much. Like, he has the ability to get rip of his recent mistakes, and is not nearly as terrible as John K. (I may repeat myself, but it's true).
