Call of Duty Thread - Potential return to form? Or nothing but cope on the horizon? You decide!

I find it bizarre that CoD: WW2's "creative" community has MAGA and ACAB user generated content all congregated together in a given time. Typically with emblems and clan tags. That gets distracting and immersion breaking.

This morning the xlabs project got a C&D. xlabs allowed you to play MW2 (the real one), Ghosts, and Advanced Warfare using dedicated servers and official mod support. MW2 (and probably Ghosts and AW) on Steam has been plagued with RCE exploits and cheating forever and now the client that allows people to play those older titles safely is now gone. I tried taking my mind off it playing BO2 via plutonium and it just made me think about it even more.

We'll never know exactly why, but large corporations have people on staff whose job it is to find pirate websites and send out C&Ds. It may be nothing more than these guys' number came up.

Because the people who work within the industry are afraid of their own shadows.

Nick's opinions aren't a surprise, the dude is a veteran and attempted BUD/S.
