If it were the price of a season pass, maybe something along the lines of $30, I probably would've been fine with that. I got it for $40 on a sale near the end of last year, so I guess that's close? The campaign was notoriously bad, and MWZ might be the worst zombies mode in mainline CoD history (yes, worse than Vanguard, at least Vanguard's zombies mode wasn't glued together on top of another mode), but the multiplayer's genuinely been fairly fun. If SHG had any clue how to balance their shit.Hot take: No.
MWII was the worst CoD ever made, and MWIII improved every single aspect of it. Maybe it should have been discounted at launch, but it's Activision, so of course they made us pay full price for it...
It probably wouldn't have gotten as much attention as a MW2 remaster. Now that all this went down, they'll have more eyes on them when they make their own IP (something that I believe one of the devs has just about said they might do).Instead of wasting their time making a mod that will get a C&D by the owners, they could have made their own game similar to the OG MW multiplayer.
Operation Harsh Doorstop for example is far from being a "BF killer" but each new update allows people to use the sandbox to make their own servers with their own settings. A few months ago they made a mode that plays like CoD instead of a tacticool shooter.
