Quickscoping has been the worst thing that the CoD community has created. I remember how Search & Destroy lobbies were just "set-up" lobbies for them to just spin around while falling to "snipe" somebody. Ridiculous.

Also, now that I think about it; which CoD game was the last one to not have any DIEversity shit shoved into it? I was taking a look at Black Ops 4 recently, didn't notice much, if any fagshit shoved into it at a glance, but anyone got an idea?

BO4 was pretty faggy. I heard a credible rumor that one of the reasons it had gay-looking fake guns is Treyarch chased out the normal people and decided it's "unethical" to "fetishize military hardware."

I'd say Black Ops Cold War if they didn't include a non-binary option for Bell, so I'll just say MW2019's campaign was the last "based" one, and that's because in MWII (the worst CoD in my opinion, but still an okay campaign tbh), a lot of dialogue points out on Ghost and Soap being gay for eachother. Maybe it's just a bromance for sane eyes like mine, but that's not how the R34 artists saw it...

I will say I gotta play it but maybe ill be open to Treyarch if they use the new engine correctly, might even be their MW2019 especially with the omni movement thing. The reason I simp so hard for 2019 is it was just good. The UI, the feel, the graphics everything about it was class act. What cemented my utter simping for this game was when they added in old maps like Crash or Backlot they still RETAINED jump spots/frag spots like they did in CoD 4. I have said it before MW22 had to much other devs working on it but I honestly prefer it to the MW23. Modern Warfare 3 is over correction for no reason other than appealing to loud sweats.

They wanted factions gone as far back as Cold War. They weren't around in the beta, and it was very obvious at launch they were a last minute edition after everyone bitched. Nobody in the Perseus faction at launch was even *in* Perseua according to their bios.

In fact, you can tell they changed some of the launch operatives to make it fit. Beck is listed as being an East German WP operative in Cold War when it launched, but under his Warzone bio they still had him listed as a West German NATO operative for two seasons I think. It's safe to assume that originally Stone and Powers were plain old SAS and Marine operatives instead of being mercenaries/traitors.

IDK why they hate factions so much. It's hard enough to tell teams apart sometimes as it is, having every operative mix together on teams just makes it harder.

I feel like the only mission I can remember that had any sort of "oomph" in the past two Modern Warfare games was the one where you fall out of the helicopter chasing a convoy, and then have to jump from truck to truck as it's moving.

Otherwise, every mission is the same boring Zero Dark Shitty slog.

Anyone remember some of the shit said about CoD: Ghosts back in the day? How it was "the most racist game in the franchise" and how the Federation was "justified" in destroying America or some shit? Thoughts?

Yeah, there were/(are?) people who seriously thought that, given the presence of the ODIN satellite, it somehow meant that the USA was "oppressing" the entire planet and it was therefore "completely and utterly morally justified" for the Feds to hijack it and start nuking civilians. Naturally, these same people completely lose their shit when the Ghosts hijack the Fed satellite - LOKI - and use it to wipe out strictly military targets.

Frankly, the America-bashing from these loons was... well, it was tone-deaf then, but it comes across as foreshadowing now, given the extreme wokeshit infecting everything these days.

Sadly, it's very unlikely that we'll ever get a chance to see a proper continuation/conclusion to Ghosts; a combination of the above wokeshit, the big-money CoD YouTubers bitching about the multiplayer WAY too much, and Activi$ion trying to turn CoD into Fortnite means that getting an actual proper sequel to Ghosts is a pipe dream at best. We did get Rourke as a playable villain character in Vanguard, there's been a few nods towards the game in the recent MW games, and Extinction got a follow-up/conclusion of sorts in Infinite Warfare... but it's safe to sadly say that Ghosts is dead.

Which especially sucks, since the campaign was fairly blatantly set-up for a sequel. Might be for the best, honestly; given how the woke run things now, would you really want to see a sequel made by troons?

A little exposition on how the South America countries united against the United States would've been nice. Most of Ghosts' campaign was chasing ONE guy that turned against the Ghosts from an evac mission gone wrong. The more you think of it, the more Ghosts' campaign makes no sense. Where's the rest of the world in that universe?
