Good idea.Print it out and frame it, then put it up on your wall in the living room. Its the last you will see of your K/D at 1.0, next match you are gonna get wrecked.
Ghosts was actually the first game in the series to have character customization with the introduction of their ‘Create-A-Soldier’ feature which had various male and female head models, headgear, bodygear, and full body gears with select DLC for it. It was mostly grounded, but Advanced Warfare took it way more extreme.NO, the newer CODs have custom skins ever since AW at least. I think Ghosts was the last one where you could tell anything about someone's loadout from their skin.
AW was fine at launch, it was the infamous "Clown Suit" update that ruined the cohesive nature of COD foreverGhosts was actually the first game in the series to have character customization with the introduction of their ‘Create-A-Soldier’ feature which had various male and female head models, headgear, bodygear, and full body gears with select DLC for it. Also not forget that AW was the first COD game you needed an Activision account to play online. The start of always online COD.AW was fine at launch, it was the infamous "Clown Suit" update that ruined the cohesive nature of COD forever
Even the flashiest skins in Ghosts were at least felt grounded, Clown Suit was when we lost the plot forever after.
There was a ridiculous Luchador skin in the same update too btw, in case you're wondering if this was just the final straw that broke the camel's back. It wasn't, they had a whole slew of shitty silly halloween costumes and most of the new skins looked just like this.

People were angry at weapon variants. I wasn't, you can get gud and just use normal weapons if you're good enough. This is what boiled my shit at the time, and I was right, the skins only got more and more ridiculous as the time went on. Ironically enough, the unjustly hated Infinite Warfare was the last game with somewhat grounded aesthetics as well, made by the same people who made Ghosts.
On PC maybe, you really didn't need that on consoles. Also, you didn't need an account to play BO3 or IW and BO4, I believe that only started proper on PC with MW2019.Also not forget that AW was the first COD game you needed an Activision account to play online. The start of always online COD.

No scythe melee weapon, however. What do you think of it?
Anyone who thinks the "scary clown" aesthetic is cool or edgy should neck themselves in real life.AW was fine at launch, it was the infamous "Clown Suit" update that ruined the cohesive nature of COD forever

Doesn't help that sniper glints are still visible through smoke

There is nothing left of old COD so who cares. Might as well be an entirely new franchise by this point.
Well, the scythe would be a tell that it IS a Grim Reaper skin instead of just a random cloaked, moody outfit. I have one; it's cool but I don't wear it. I could see something like that as a endgame reward. You're right; it's not as outlandish as pink Nicki Minaj. It's different enough to stand out as a gag without clashing with the overall theme.Coloration is fairly dull overall, and the design isn't completely over-the-top; while it is a weird skin, it's not completely ridiculous like the above-mentioned luchador or clown outfits. The design also works decently well with WWII's gameplay design, as it provides decent camo and doesn't draw the eye as much as, say, Nicki Minaj in a snowy Shipment.
That said, the scythe is... a bit much.
I saw that making the rounds on social media. I'm betting on it being an elaborate fake; I cannot find official confirmation of Activision/Raven posting it. Odd that Treyarch's logo is not feature since the current CoD now is Black Ops 6. Still funny.Showing you got balls in COD can get you banned now.

I'm replaying the single player on Veteran. So far, MW2019's checkpoints are generously spread out. You die quickly, but so far, I'm not at a position where I'm STUCK at a particular point. That may change halfway through when the levels open up.Speaking of CoD, finally managed to find a working copy of MW2019; been a bit mixed so far.

I will just repeat that the flashlight-like "scope glint" introduced in BF4 is the dumbest effect in FPSes to go mainstream in ages. If you can't find a sniper from the killcam or are too stupid to stop running around in the open, you deserve the deaths.
It's fake
I disagree. With the increased graphical fidelity in games nowadays, the glint helps balance long range engagements from being impossible to counter. Speaking of snipers, what I do have an issue with is how the aim assist allows snipers to be hitscan shotguns through "quickscoping."I will just repeat that the flashlight-like "scope glint" introduced in BF4 is the dumbest effect in FPSes to go mainstream in ages. Basically, yes. I cannot play any CoD where somebody properly uses a sniper because of the exploitable aim assist and the Gunsmith from newer CoDs that give sniper players increased ADS speed that is practically impossible to counter if one is "skilled" enough to exploit the sniper's capabilities with the aim assist/TTK/movement speed. It's because all the retards kept complaining that they kept dying to snipers; they think you should only be using them for "quickscoping".
We had plenty long ranges on Seelow and Overgrown BITD. The way you countered a sniper with a SMG in those games was not thinking you could win a gunfight with a Barett at 200m when you were armed with a Mini-Uzi.I disagree. Compare the visual fidelity of Seelow:We had plenty long ranges on Seelow and Overgrown BITD.
None of the 6v6 maps in MW2019 are this big.To, say, a Ground War map in MW2019:
You may say it's not impossible to spot targets from a typical sniping range. Okay, fair enough, but the glint aids as a warning/tell that you're in a sniper's POV waiting to be picked off.
