Call of Duty Thread - Potential return to form? Or nothing but cope on the horizon? You decide!

It's killing the warzone multiplayer. Goddamn everyone is using weapons that just do more damage and penetrate walls like none ever.
Which is why I play normal MP roulettes, my friends aren't that lucky. And they still won't give us Kingslayers for that satisfying ground to ground combat in F2P.

The DMR is powerful but I've probably been killed by it twice since it dropped in Warzone.

Pretty much any of the core MW2019 can down you with full armor in Warzone and have from day one.

Giving it more recoil is probably the answer but I also hate how the community whines any gun into the ground that isn't the M4 or MP5.

I also think the complaining over the MAC10 is overblown. It's devastating at close range, but only at close range. And I don't think it's any worse than the Fenic.
 
I was recently coaxed into trying out Warzone with a friend for lack of a first-person shooter we have in common, and to me it just seems like guns are incredibly soft/weak to what I expect from them. Maybe it's all the armour plates that you shove up your ass and that you need the fancy Legendaries and a few choice favourites to get the lethality that I anticipate, but they felt like multi-coloured peashooters.

Just makes me lament EA fucking up with Battlefield Vagina, honestly.

Warzone just isn't fun IMO. I can get a little bit of enjoyment out of the plunder mode but the Battle Royale shit is so boring.

I've legit seen everything from the pornhub logo as a gun paintjob, to swastikas, wolfangel and other SS symbols as emblems, in addition to the dicks, and anime adegho faces. I don't whether it's genuine neo nazism that's invaded the ww2 player base or if it's just meant to be ironic/funny. essentially a dig at SHG/activison themselves saying there'd be no swastikas in multiplayer.

like you said nobody at either company is moderating anything anymore just keeping the servers alive.

Give the CoD community an inch, they go a mile.

I've seen a fair share of genetaila, swastikas, racist shit on Black Ops II.

If you're going to enforce a zero tolerance policy with user creator content, keep it consistent.

Xbox one and frankly I (usually) don't care what people put if anything it's kinda funny how there was a zero tolerance policy at launch only for the users to flood the place with lolzy content once the mods left.

Sure I said it still pisses me off to see blm or other slacktivism on there too but that's only cause I'm playing videogames to get away from that sort of bullshit.

Eh not my problem it pisses me off but not enough to be a crybaby over it, still just makes me wish friendly fire was still possible. As for activation's response to floyd eh like all AAA companies it was probably lip service at best to appease the msm/game journos.
 
I wouldn't bother. It's full of sweaty ass streamers hopped up on G-Fuel and prescription adderal. Nevermind the rampant cheating. And forget playing any map that isn't Rust, Nuketown, Skidrow, or Terminal. If you want to play offline with bots it's ok but online play is retarded.

It's just people being edgy.
I think it was a dumb decision from IW and Treyarch to remove the custom emblem creator in MW 2019 and Cold War. Sure, you would see in previous games some usual edgy stuff like a woman's ass with a g-string or a swastika, but those things were less cringe than the generic emblems and LGBT calling cards.
CoD isn't the only franchise to do this, DICE with BFVagina, 343 with the MCC. Microsoft/The Coalition also put all the customization behind the Battle Pass and the microtransactions for Gears 4 and 5 but they made sure that the LGBT banners were unlocked by default because that what people want the most in a violent and graphic shooter game.

IDK what the hell happened but I can't go 10 minutes without the game crashing now.

Shit worked fine until this Firebase Z update. It started crashing after that, but I was still able to at least complete the easter egg for it yesterday without it crashing. now suddenly it crashes every 10 minutes.

god damn treyarch test your fucking shit.

I'm getting the feeling that a lot of people are going to be pissed with where Call of Duty is going by combining everything, but holy shit I'm loving it.

Basically, Black Ops Cold War feels like GI Joe with these new Operators. Guy in full body armor, Big Black man with Minigun, Disavowed Russian Bane and Drug Smuggling Jungle Warlord are pretty over the top and bad ass.

Zombies are now a real thing in the continuity, and Kravchenko is running the Russian program trying to control them.

And now a tanker heading for Verdansk in 1984 went through what I assume is some sort of Dark Aether portal and teleported to 2021 Warzone bringing both time travel AND zombie outbreak into the mix.

Shits fun yo.

I've heard good things about cold war zombies but I think my big apprehension is going to just be missing the old characters I wish treyarch would just go back to the og waw crew they kinda did in black ops 4 but they also had to share screentime with the boring new versions and the fucking chaos storyline

If the new Samantha Maxis operator bundle is anything to go buy, they'll release them all separately down the line since retards are willing to spend 25 dollars on skins they can't even see cause it's an FPS game.
