Yeah, you're right. I said gayoping by meaning she was doing dumb shit in general. That and lying about who (s)he really was. I don't mind people lying to protect their identity, but Spooky was closer to RPing than anything.
That's the part I'm still largely out of. From what I understand, the person to
evidence that Spooky was a tranny was a former BB member called Angry Canadian, but nothing Ive seen him post really confirms that.
It may be the case, it may not be, but a huge part of what I remember him posting was "heres a photo of a guy who posted on Spooky Bones' account a few years ago, this confirms that he is a tranny".
Relative to that, Spooky was always open about sharing an account with her husband, so I'd consider just seeing the photo to be jumping the gun a bit/potential confirmation bias
Now, of course there are odd things with that:
Why share an account with your husband in the first place? But also, if you know you have old photos and people know you as a guy on an account, and you want to pretend to be a woman, why not create a new account? Why bring attention to that with "I'm on my husband's account" at the start of the whole Bella saga, bringing attention to the notion that this used to be a guys account? Do we honestly know anything about Spooky other than the things she willingly revealed?
There's certainly things that are weird, but Spooky is also smart (if you disagree, the aggressive autism of the initial Bella doxxing is something that Id still consider a masterstroke, regardless of what else you think). I'm of the opinion that there'd be a much greater chance that Spooky was just trying to obscure who they were with "this is my wife now" to add a layer to prevent doxxing, rather than "OMG guys, I'm a secret tranny, don't tell anyone". With regards to that though, to obscure who you were, creating a new account would also work. So, why not?
Thats all a part of the reason why, until something else emerges confirming that Spooky was pretending to be female, a tranny, or what have you, I'm defaulting to the way that she referred to herself as on the forum and elsewhere, when talking about the person who was the main figure behind the Mean Girls & BB. Its the most basic position to have.
