One of the worst copes of many leafs is "it's like this in every Western country".
It's not, not even fucking close lol.
Canada's immigration policy is like somebody read The Camp of Saints as inspiration.
Is there any other nation in the West that's growing at a per capita rate comparable to Canada? Our population growth (>1.2m annually for the past 4 years) is quite literally Sub-Saharan African level. We're experiencing an apolcalyptic catastrophe in front of our very eyes considering it's all parasitic jeet vermin.
Unrelated rant, but something that's very quickly began to enrage me is the Boomer generation of Canada (as was briefly mentioned above). Pretty much every young person in my social circles seems to share the same consensus; Canada is a completely failed nation and that there's absolutely no future for anyone <35. There's zero convinction in anything resembling a recovery; at best the hope is that PP will make some moderate effort to momentarily stop the bleeding.
Boomers however seem to live in some state of sheer delusion that Canada is just going through a "rough time", and things will turn right around soon enough and we'll be back into an economic renaissance. Heard one recently on how anyone "panicking" (observing trends evident to anyone without the insular safety of an RRSP/401k) is just heckin feeding into the "Conservative rage bait propaganda".
Their own children could be priced out of every shithole low wage job in their periphery by a horde of nepotistic jeet orcs and they'd probably still just turn on the TV with their infantile brains needing to be dripfed from the CBC/CTV bottle. It's made me realize how little they actually understand about basic financial or social principles - they've never had to even once consider pesonal budgetary constraints, prospects of social collapse, outbreaks of crime, mass wage stagnation, etc.
I'm begging the boomer generation of Canada to outline any significant period in their lives where they faced anything even close to resembling a "crisis". As far as I'm concerned, they were giftwrapped unprecedented economic prosperity with all the benefits of ethnic homogenity, no matter how badly they may want to insist the latter is unimportant to a state's stability. It was so good that purchasing a cottage, let alone a home was a feasible goal for anyone making an above-average wage. I currently know 4 different people <30 making 6 figures and all are looking to move South out of necessity rather than an innate desire to live in America. After seeing polling data and boomers still voting LPC over CPC they can all rot in fucking hell, a complete drain on society and quite possibly the most destructive generation in history.
