Canada is a failed state

As someone who works in Onterrible health care and bears witness to immigrants use up every single resource for their elderly and sick parent who they just brought here 1 year ago on ‘compassionate’ grounds; I pray for a nuke to drop on us.
Unless I can eacape here to the US there is no point even hoping for change. These fucking chinks and Tamils are dropping off their elderly parents at the hospital like a abandoned puppy, then refusing to take the calls of hospitals when it comes time for discharge. This is a major reason why there is a ‘bed’ shortage. Then those same people who themselves came here as refugees a few years ago and are still collecting gibs, have the audacity to complain about not getting the most luxurious accommodations in the long term care home and having to pay for diapers. The shit that goes on that the media won’t report on because’muh racism’ is fucking sick.
We are doomed.

This is one of the things that pisses me off when people try to tout how "smart" our immigration policy is here in Canada, that we apparently only take in "the best of the best" or some other retarded lie. Even if it was true, which it isn't, we end up taking in a bunch of their shitty family members and all of their shitty problems through chain migration. Maybe I'm just too economically illiterate to understand how taking in people in their 70s who can barely speak English and haven't had a dentist appointment since the Quebec Nordiques were a thing is in my economic interests as a Canadian.

Not that I want to be bringing in the vast majority of them here to begin with, but it's one thing to bring over young children and spouses -- it's a whole different thing when everyone who can claim to have some familial relationship is then allowed to come over. As they continue to become the new important voting bloc (they're already the one that the government cares the most about to begin with) though it's just going to become worse since they're of course in favour of it (I can hardly blame them since it's in their interests after all, just not Canada's.)

Who needs to appeal to native(actual native not feather nigger) Canadian interests when you can just import a brown voting bloc that owe you for being there?

Why Trudeau Keeps on Winning

By Geoffrey Clarfield

During the last three years, the Canadian government has been printing lots of money and hiring lots of employees. The number of government hires has been more than those in the private sector. We also now have illegal Chinese police stations in our major cities and the hint (God forbid!) that the Chinese Communist Party was interfering in our last national election. I am shocked!
Canada also had a week of martial law against truckers’ COVID protests. Then, during drawn-out hearings, it would appear that, from the Prime Minister down, no one in the higher echelons of government knew what was happening on the ground or who ordered what. Watching the investigation is like watching a modern version of Keystone Cops.
Only Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland suggested that martial law was declared because of American pressure. Those readers familiar with Canadian history will recognize that “Blame the Americans” is the oldest kind of scapegoating on record in this country but, of course, we still turn to America whenever the nation is really in trouble.
Even though the Conservative Party gained seats during the last election, Trudeau only managed to get a parliamentary majority by allying himself with the far-left New Democratic Party. With this weak coalition, one wonders whether, after another cold, expensive winter, the Liberals (and Trudeau) will lose an election that may be set in motion this spring? The answer is probably not. They may still win. I will try and explain how.
I have spent a lifetime as an anthropologist. Before the nihilistic left took over the field, anthropologists studied tribes and ethnic groups in developing countries and here, in the West. We would argue that common descent and origin, language, family, in-group identity, religious affiliation, and residence were and remain key aspects of the ethnic communities that now constitute the great cities of America and Canada.

I thought this was a really funny thing to have at the bottom of the MAID page.

That is certainly one part of the equation, though Poilievre has been doing outreach to immigrant communities by talking to the ethnic media. Hell, my MP is a Sikh Conservative of a very ethnic-populated riding so take that as will you. Another major part of the equation is that Canadians, particularly the old-stock variety from Ottawa, Downtown Toronto, and Montreal are highly complacent about our nation's place in the world. These drooling morons believe we are the envy of the planet and that everyone looks to Canada for inspiration when the exact opposite is true. German Chancellor, Olaf Schultz, came to Canada looking to buy LNG to wean his country off Russian exports and what did Trudeau say? I am paraphrasing here, but it was along the lines of, "There was no business for it." Then he took him on a tour of an experimental hydrogen production facility that may or may never /go online.

What. The. Hell?

The leader of one of the wealthiest nations on the planet comes to us desperate to buy natural gas so his people don't freeze to death during the winter and there is no business cause to sell LNG to him? Granted, Canada doesn't even have the export capacity for it because our approval process is so byzantine, but I digress. It would not surprise me in the least that Schultz went back to Deutschland believing that Trudeau was a dunce. Lo and behold, Germany signs a deal with Qatar months later so congrats Justin, you handed a suitcase full of Euros to that shitty sand pit. While diplomacy demands decorum in front of the camera, I imagine that the rest of the world is exasperated with Canada behind closed doors. World leaders know that the Canadian leadership is not serious because of its ideological inflexibility. Look at how much prodding it took from the United States to get the Trudeau government to (barely) acknowledge the threat the CCP poses.

What I find interesting about the article is how in invokes the spectre of Pierre Elliot Trudeau and how history is repeating itself. Canadians, by and large, have no desire to learn from the past because the culturally-dominant left is convinced of its own moral perfection when their own blackened hearts are bursting with sin. If anything, the Canadian public are basically the French House of Bourbon post-Napoleonic Wars: they have forgotten nothing and learned nothing. They would rather risk the fragmentation and dissolution of the nation than admit any fault on their part.

If the LPC win a hypothetical 2023 election, it will be because a complete implosion of the NDP as Jagmeet Singh, despite all his sound and fury ,was a lapdog for Trudeau due to his desire for that sweet pension. Trudeau, being the conniving weasel he is, would most likely stab Jughead in the back for his own personal gain. That is basically the character of the Canadian people: a nation of delusional, and treacherous narcissists motivated by instant gratification.

Trudeau is well known to be a vapid idiot on the world stage (he's also rumoured to have incredible anger issues). In all honesty, he is just the front the Liberals use right now. They were so afraid of being a third place party that they sold out to everyone they could. Ignatieff was the first attempt to take over the party with some foreign stooge. The man had been living out of the country for decades. Trudeau is just the successful attempt. I'm always shocked he hasn't had a cabinet revolt yet, but I assume they are all bought and paid for by the same group.

The LNG thing is typical for how the party runs. If they could extract it in Quebec or southern Ontario. They would be full steam ahead. But since the Federal government, since it's inception has always ran a Heartland/Hinterland economic policy. That means that wealth and trade has to flow to Ontario and Quebec and then flow out to the US. The Liberal's and the Canadian economic elites need to keep this policy running. If Alberta suddenly becomes bigger than BC, or starts to match Quebec in seats. Then it throws the whole system into chaos. That's why immigration flows to southern Ontario, it's why manufacturing was built up there.

I have to wonder how many of those grandparents are part of the 31k people euthanized

Oh, he has major anger issues as former Liberal MPs Jodie Wilson-Reybould and Celina Caesar-Chavannes revealed that Trudeau gets angry and highly aggressive when he does not get his way. The main reason why he appears composed in public is that he gets his way because the Liberal Party has a death grip on Canada's institutions, including the establishment media who are majority big-L liberals. You can still hear the vitriol that comes from him in question period.

Honestly, I wouldnt be so opposed to healthcare overcrowding (a big problem, of course), if the government was also investing in the people, trying to encourage small or medium sized businesses, bringing industry to Canada, etc.

But, its just not. Not enough anyways. Oil, its curbing to a degree, manufacturing it doesnt really and hasnt really protected (though thats largely out of its hands due to a globalized market). Even in finance and insurance, another bastion, Ive seen how the entire industry got taken over by scab companies- ie: youre not permanently hired, but instead get hired as an external contractor, have to be renewed every X number of months, can simply not be renewed, are not eligable for normal labour relations, etc.

In a lot of regards, the negatives of Canada are not really compensated for by much of anything.

Breaking News: Canadians are low-information voters

On top of this, Canada also built a database of the mentally ill years ago which they share with the U.S and possibly other countries.

Shockingly enough most people aren't aware of that either. Many of these unaware people are probably on some list themselves. And now it looks like Euthanasia will be given out easily for most psychiatric conditions.

They gotta replace the white folk with third world immigrants. Diversity is our strength after all.

So are opinions on MAID firmly along political lines? Right vs. left?

Just curious. I can’t figure it out. It seems all over the place.

I could see a lot of “my body, my choice” retards being all for it. Especially if they get to make egotistical videos on Instagram about themselves first.

Hasn't Canada been about 10 years ahead on almost all progressive policies that are being adopted as well in the United States?

Reading this thread is super depressing tho, and I hope I don't have to toss all my stuff into a lake anytime soon. Good luck, Canada.

I Would say so. At least in the US, on the right, we're horrified at what's happening, especially the expansion at giving MAID to the mentally ill. Even the left here has stayed mostly silent, if only that they're afraid of saying it.
