The NDP and Liz May are going to prop this shit up for another 4 years, the pretense of these parties having any kind of tangible differences from one another is completely dead. After dropping Carney in, calling an election while he’s an unknown, media slobbering, hiding his financial disclosures, frothing about Trump, NDP collapse and left wing vote consolidation- the best they can do is a minority government… I don’t think they are going to have as easy a time as they had hoped. Six months from now, our poor Lib voters are going to swear they never did vote for this piece of shit once we all get to know him better.
The fact that the Liberals under Trudeau started "Subsidising" the mainstream media can't be discounted. As biased as they already were, and when literally every national media company is majority-owned by a small group of Liberal insider families from Toronto you know they are firmly Team Red, they weren't about to bite the hand that is feeding them billions of free dollars a year. How are you supposed to deliver a message when the media outright refuses to broadcast it? The MSM memory-holed Carney all but fellating CCP officials on camera, the cognitive dissonance being projected to the electorate is effectively insurmountable at this point.
If the NDP and the Liberals form a coalition they'll have a majority, which I think is very likely to happen.A take I haven’t seen anywhere: Atlantic Canada flipped some seats and saved us from a lib majority, thanks guys.
Look at what happened to the NDP last night, they would be absolutely retarded to ever think that another coalition is a good ideaThe NDP and Liz May are going to prop this shit up for another 4 years, the pretense of these parties having any kind of tangible differences from one another is completely dead.
The NDP *wanted* what happened last night. Singh outright said on his campaign that blocking the CPC is more important than the NDP's survival. Without party status they can outright absorb themselves into the LPC and put an end to vote splitting for generations.Look at what happened to the NDP last night, they would be absolutely retarded to ever think that another coalition is a good idea
I guess we will see. If Carney becomes unpopular, the NDP thinks they have a chance of bouncing back, and we don’t have Jagmeat camping on the pension spawn point, they can make a different decision. Unlike an actual LPC majority. If the NDP and the Liberals form a coalition they'll have a majority, which I think is very likely to happen.
The fact that coalitions can be formed AFTER election day is ridiculous and yet another example of how diseased our system is.If the NDP and the Liberals form a coalition they'll have a majority, which I think is very likely to happen.
That’s actually pretty normal for parliamentary systems, Canada is late to the party. The fact that coalitions can be formed AFTER election day is ridiculous and yet another example of how diseased our system is.
Jagmeet has single handily destroyed Canada. I have unadulterated hatred towards him and his ilk. I will never trust another turban in existence.I guess we will see. If Carney becomes unpopular, the NDP thinks they have a chance of bouncing back, and we don’t have Jagmeat camping on the pension spawn point, they can make a different decision. I don’t really care, I’m done with Canada. Will work towards AB separation, if that fails we may have to move to the US. I actually would prefer not to, I love my life here and my roots are here but the Canada has no future for a bright white kid.
Another mark against parliamentary democracy, then. That’s actually pretty normal for parliamentary systems, Canada is late to the party.
Parliamentary democracy is the single fucking worst gift British Empire has bestowed upon its colonies.Another mark against parliamentary democracy, then.
The Liberals going so far left under Trudeau II eroded the NDP base to the hardcore true believers, so a coalition is very unlikely, especially with the knives coming out for Singh for dragging his feet and propping up Trudeau.Look at what happened to the NDP last night, they would be absolutely retarded to ever think that another coalition is a good idea
Lmao another coalition and it's over for NDP.Look at what happened to the NDP last night, they would be absolutely retarded to ever think that another coalition is a good idea
Bloc, when it comes to non-Quebec issues, is fairly independent and can't really be aligned to either party so I strongly doubt they'll form a coalition with anyone, and certainly not the Liberals.Lmao another coalition and it's over for NDP.
I mean, it's over now. It will be even more over.
I can't imagine bloc aligning themselves with Liberals when it was the Liberals who took all the seats from them in Quebec.
why align with the enemy that destroyed you just so that you can look like the same party as Liberals by joining the said coalition?
Oh no! I hope you are ok?I'm just getting back to normal (crashed on my bike, brain damage fun) and this is what I wake too?
Would've died with no helmet, thankful for those around meOh no! I hope you are ok?
