Canada is a failed state

I’m seeing a lot of cope on X today, how those poor Liberal voters shouldn’t be held accountable for voting Lib because CBC.

That’s not how it works.

After dropping Carney in, calling an election while he’s an unknown, media slobbering, hiding his financial disclosures, frothing about Trump, NDP collapse and left wing vote consolidation- the best they can do is a minority government… I don’t think they are going to have as easy a time as they had hoped. Six months from now, our poor Lib voters are going to swear they never did vote for this piece of shit once we all get to know him better.

A take I haven’t seen anywhere: Atlantic Canada flipped some seats and saved us from a lib majority, thanks guys.

The NDP and Liz May are going to prop this shit up for another 4 years, the pretense of these parties having any kind of tangible differences from one another is completely dead.

The fact that the Liberals under Trudeau started "Subsidising" the mainstream media can't be discounted. As biased as they already were, and when literally every national media company is majority-owned by a small group of Liberal insider families from Toronto you know they are firmly Team Red, they weren't about to bite the hand that is feeding them billions of free dollars a year.

The NDP *wanted* what happened last night. Singh outright said on his campaign that blocking the CPC is more important than the NDP's survival. Without party status they can outright absorb themselves into the LPC and put an end to vote splitting for generations.

Even if there is still some irrelevant ideological split, the NDP are completely broke. They can't afford to campaign again anytime soon.

I guess we will see. If Carney becomes unpopular, the NDP thinks they have a chance of bouncing back, and we don’t have Jagmeat camping on the pension spawn point, they can make a different decision. Unlike an actual LPC majority.

I don’t really care, I’m done with Canada. Will work towards AB separation, if that fails we may have to move to the US. I actually would prefer not to, I love my life here and my roots are here but the Canada has no future for a bright white kid.

Although, I don't think they envisioned ethnical cleansing of their own people.

I unironically want to see unapologetic and absolutely extreme party in the riding of their choice across Canada and see how they do.

The Liberals going so far left under Trudeau II eroded the NDP base to the hardcore true believers, so a coalition is very unlikely, especially with the knives coming out for Singh for dragging his feet and propping up Trudeau.

I can't imagine bloc aligning themselves with Liberals when it was the Liberals who took all the seats from them in Quebec.

why align with the enemy that destroyed you just so that you can look like the same party as Liberals by joining the said coalition?

Bloc, when it comes to non-Quebec issues, is fairly independent and can't really be aligned to either party so I strongly doubt they'll form a coalition with anyone, and certainly not the Liberals.
