Generation logic is incredibly arbitrary and American. Is someone born pre 1945 good in your books and not responsible for the degradation of Canada? Boomers are defined as people born between 1946 and 1964 and most would have been children in 1971 or still in college, the "silent" generation or even further back dominated society even well into the 2000s, why are they given a pass?. Pierre Trudeau was born in 1919 and his cockroach son in 1971.

Most popularly accepted demography starts with boomers and was perpetrated by Madison Ave. types so they could sell to boomers.

They learned boomers could be driven to believe anything, buy anything, or vote for anything in a majority with minimal effort.

GenX not so nice either, Carney is a year-1 GenXer and the fucking he will give Canada will be biblical rather than 'slacker'.

But whether Trudeau or Carney Canada is ruled by the crown and the 10 crown connected families. You could put ChrisChan "in charge" and while the show would be a bit more interesting, not a thing you could vote for would ever change anything. Also Trudeau's father was born in 1926.

Love the fact you gotta shove words in my mouth and assume i like or think CBC is how tax payer funded media should be done, the only thing i watch from them is 22 minutes and if i want news i'll take CTV.

I used to like watching 22 minutes and the Rick Mercer Report between the ages of 10 and 13.

I can't imagine how bad 22 minutes has gotten now (I've see a few of their Trudeau sketches and their terrible)

Canada needs to take a cue from Japan. The Japs know when they won't get a better deal and basically court both sides in the hope of turning a shit deal now into a better deal down the road.
