Biden signs onto ‘Declaration of North America (DNA)’ with Canada and Mexico: Is the planned North American Union making a comeback?

Guest post by Leo Hohmann – reprinted with permission.

Joe Biden met last week in Mexico City with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador for the 10th North American Leaders’ Summit.
The three leaders signed onto a document that looks like a prelude to a North American Union, which the globalists talked a lot about during the George W. Bush presidency. It looks like the push toward a merger of the U.S., Canada and Mexico may be back on the front burner if this document is any indication.
The document attracted very little media attention since it was released on January 10, as the mainstream corporate press focused instead on classified documents found in Biden’s office and home. When major news happens there’s almost always a misdirection play meant to divert our eyes.
The stated goal of the document is to fortify the continent’s “security, prosperity, sustainability and inclusiveness.

Canada launches drastic new ‘alcohol guidance’ rules

By Rajan Laad

Canada recently updated its alcohol consumption guidelines for 2023.
The recommendations are that zero alcohol is the only risk-free approach.
A maximum of two drinks each week was deemed low risk.
The previous edition of the guidelines recommended a maximum of 10 drinks a week for women and 15 drinks for men.
The guidelines also recommend mandatory warning labels for all alcoholic beverages.
This is part of a nearly 90-page report, from the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA), that details the health risks associated with what was previously considered low alcohol consumption.
How does Canada compare with other countries?
The U.S. recommends no more than two drinks a day for men, and one for women, while the U.K. suggests no more than 14 "units" of alcohol - around six glasses of wine, or pints of beer - per week.
The Netherlands's health council recommended that people abstained from alcohol altogether, or drink no more than one standard drink each day.
In Canada, CCSA scientists and other experts say that mandatory labeling of all alcoholic beverages with health warnings, now common practice for cigarettes, is a necessary first step.
In India, for instance, all tobacco-based products and alcoholic beverages contain warnings, calling them health hazards. It doesn’t stop there; before every movie, there is a public health infomercial about the hazards of smoking. Even during movies for scenes where characters consume alcohol or smoke cigarettes, a message flashes at the base of the screen.
On the surface, all of this seems innocuous.
We all know excessive consumption of alcohol is harmful, a government recommendation and a warning will only remind people.
The question as always is about consistency.
The situation is similar to why people objected to Twitter fact-checking or added disclaimers or context to certain tweets. The problem isn’t with the act but the consistency. There are two choices only, either apply them uniformly across the board for all Tweets or none at all.

Did some fucking bureaucrats wants the black market to prosper?

Did some fucking bureaucrats wants the black market to prosper?

Statistically, alcohol consumption and alcoholism has never been good in Canada. I suspect the government has information that its becoming out of control and Trudeau's Health Canada, like every other ministry is simply not going to release yet another line chart about the consequences of Trudeau.

Alcohol use increased everywhere during the pandemic and established substance abusers went overboard. That's in the rear view but now middle and lower class Canadians face a plurality of crisis. Merely existing becoming completely unaffordable - but people will always find a way to obtain alcohol. The liberal government wants to say "Oh no you don't! What do you need alcohol for? Dear leader wants you to know that alcohol and its enjoyment is wrong for you, try CCP fentanyl, legal weed or legal suicide those are all healthier choices."

Canada Provides More Organs From Assisted Suicide Recipients for Transplant Than Any Other Country

Canadian patients who opt for euthanasia provide more transplant organs than any other country globally that allows physician-assisted suicide, according to the first international review of medical assistance in dying (MAID).

Patients in Canada who decide to end their lives with physician help also contributed to almost half of the world’s documented organ transplants occurring after euthanasia.

Canada legalized euthanasia in 2016, and became a world leader of the practice in 2022, with record numbers of people committing suicide with physician-administered lethal drugs. As of May 2022, eight countries in the world allowed death by “intravenous practitioner-administration of lethal substances,” the type of MAID compatible with subsequent organ donation.

Five years ago, patients had to be facing imminent death in order to avail of the procedure. That is not the case anymore.

As of last year, Canadians who wanted help to end their lives did not have to suffer from a terminal condition. Instead, they could qualify for MAID with a “serious and incurable illness, disease or disability.” The availability for MAID was expanded in 2022, with plans to include mental illness as a qualifying condition by March 17, 2023.

Altruism

Canada has some of the most liberal rules in the world for receiving assisted suicide. The authors of the review noted that clear ethical standards need to be implemented, as there are consent and trust issues to resolve due to “potentially influenceable” patients.

The report noted that altruism could become a motivating factor in ending one’s life. There is “risk that knowing how many people their organs could help, will prevent the MAID patient from feeling absolute freedom to change their mind, right up until the last time they are asked whether they wish to proceed, just before substance administration,” it noted.

This actually reminds me of a 1990s story the CBC did (when they still did journalism) and had smuggled footage and witness accounts out of China about how the CCP was executing Chinese prisoners that happened to be genetic matches to high ranking party members who needed transplants. The prisoners were summarily executed for crimes there was no proof of with the most speediest of trials. Full Vidiian but no phage. Canada will perfect the practice I guess with Canadians just agreeing to MAID due to their shizopost history.

I think it's a bit misleading to call these "rules". These are Health Canada guidelines. They will be no more legally enforced than the Canada Food Guide. It may result in a health warning on labels. Nobody paid attention to the old guidelines and nobody will pay attention to these ones.

I'm very against government overreach, but let's not be hand wringing faggots over Health Canada guidelines that will have zero impact on people's ability to legally access alcohol.

They will not try to make alcohol illegal. This is because it is impossible to stop people from making alcohol without outlawing sugar and yeast. If alcohol were illegal and you wanted to make a jug of homebrew in the privacy your basement with a few basic items from the grocery store, there is nothing they can do to stop you unless they are monitoring everyone's living spaces 24/7. I've made wine that would knock you on your ass using nothing more than a packet of bread yeast, a lemon, some sugar(~$5 worth of stuff) and a bunch of dandlions from the yard. This is exactly why they ended up legalizing weed recently and doing away with alcohol prohibition in the 20th century. If you can make it easily at home using cheap legal items, it's basically impossible to outlaw.

lol, full on dystopia. But how does it work exactly considering that, at least theoretically, the recipients of MAiD are old people and people dying of diseases like cancer, both have either barely working organs or organs with massive risk of carrying cancer cells?

I'm more amused/incredibly irritated by the fact that they simultaneously insist that shooting up as much fentanyl as you want will be safe so long as the government supplies it.

Go over to this site, and starting filling out shit fast. And yes, you can get a work visa and express entry.
I'm idiotically holding my ground on eventual western sovereignty/pseudo-sovereignty. Now the Alberta NDP is scrambling to pretend it hates the Just Transition because of how much free clout it's giving to the sovereignty approach, which makes me a little less negative about the UCPs upcoming election prospects. It feels like one more phoney sub-33% election "win" by Justin should really get things accelerating.

That would be worth for a meme featuring Willy Wonka or the Third World Skeptical kid of this kind: "The put guindance on alcohol but not on fentanyl?"

I dunno, imagine the shitfit the Rezzies would throw if we outlawed alcohol. Sure, it'd be another "It's a day ending in Y" protest from them, but watching the most coddled group in this shitheap of a country throw a tantrum is always fun.

Starting in March 2023 people can qualify for suicide/MAID based on mental-illness, depression and poverty/despair etc.

Canadians are like cute silly animals being hunted by the world's plutocrats and globalists. First it was just money, industry and natural resources now its full blown ghoulish organ harvesting.

Yeah but the question who got the used parts until now? Though I guess it's better to have a 90 year old middle income white man's kidney than the kidney of a lower class Chinaman health wise.

But you'd think poor people will sell their organs before letting the government kill them and then sell their organs for profit.

Don't know who gets the parts or who is even being harvested for parts or why. Canadian privacy and health legislation + an opaque network of intermediaries.

This was illuminating:

In 2022, Canadians learned that people in severe economic or medical crises had been applying to die by assisted suicide because they could not cope with their challenges or pay their bills.

In addition, as many as eight military veterans who contacted the government were offered death without even asking for it, including retired corporal and former Paralympian Christine Gauthier, who wanted help to build a wheelchair ramp at her home.

She testified before a parliamentary committee that a government case worker offered her assisted suicide and even offered to supply the equipment.

MAID really is overhyped as it is in the press.

The overwhelming majority of people using it have stage 4 cancer or something. The cases of govt bureaucrats suggesting it to cut costs are very low and in the case of the military it was literally just one guy doing it.

What is more concerning is people requesting it for their kids (and getting denied) and the expansion of MAID to mental health.

TBF the government has "paused" the March rollout due to significant pushback, but what that ultimately means is anyone's guess.

One veteran took up the offer. Many others have been having it suggested to them unsolicited. If it's not about cheaply skirting around the problems the federal government has built for itself they're doing a terrible job of getting their messaging across. And that's not even factoring in having it romanticized as a literal fashion statement through mass media.

It's the worst it's ever been.

I see homeless children and immigrants who are working at a McDonalds who can't speak a lick of English. (Whose housing is tied to the job)

Even in the small towns too. Indians are buying everyone out, there's no point in going to the hospital even if you are dying.

This especially. Even in the before Covid times, our “Glorious Free Healthcare that’s the envy of the world” was already a system being stretched to it’s breaking point. The Coof just gave it that last kick in the ass it needed to properly fall into the grave. It’s not even an issue funding would be able to fix, because I’d be willing to bet most of that funding winds up in the black hole that is Union Bureaucracy.

To say nothing of the glorified shoestring Mental Health gets to operate on…

Canadians believe in being friendly and polite to everyone. This is what being friendly and polite to everyone gets you.
