Canada is a failed state

Well, they've made an announcement. The Trudeau Liberals are going to:

  • Implement a two-year cap on international study permits; the cap will be fixed in each province proportionate to its population, with an aim to reduce the number of foreign students in Ontario by 50% and 35% in other provinces
  • Reduce the total number of issued study permits to 364,000
  • Stop issuing post-graduate work permits to foreign students who graduate from Public College-Private Partnerships (e.g. fake diploma mills)
  • Stop issuing work permits to spouses of foreign students, except those enrolled in graduate schools or professional schools (e.g. medicine, law)
The two-year cap is obviously designed to carry them past the next election, which they probably are still delusional enough that they think they can win. And if they do they'll just lift it as soon as their next government is formed after the election. If they really stop issuing work permits to graduates of fake diploma mills, that should put them all out of business basically overnight. Still not going to vote for them, but I wonder if enough Canadians are so stupid as to credit them for their minimal efforts to solve a problem they knowingly and intentionally caused in the first place.

Never, EVER, underestimate to stupidity of your average Leaf and especially the TruAnons.

Question, do Canadian politicians and elites go to usual hospitals or they just go out of country for the private healthcare? You'd think it will be a scandal if they do.
I'm pretty sure this has been going for a long time. In an earlier post I mentioned a scandal that I could recall where some documents were leaked from one of the large university hospitals implying that there is a two-tiered system where politicians and celebrities were able to get priority triage. I couldn't find any articles about that incident, and thinking about it now, it could've been earlier than 2013. But I did find a bunch of articles from 2016 about a VIP system that was ostensibly for foreign dignitaries, but when contacted the government was not forthright in questioning. You can parse from the language when they got caught that it's likely that this was related to the earlier scandal and it's likely that politicians and their families from across the country are coming to Ontario to take advantage of this program. “both foreign and domestic dignitaries visiting Ontario. Domestic dignitaries include the prime minister and governor general.”

At the bare minimum, what is happening is that they're getting to the front of the line in the country's top facilities, while everyone else is sitting in emergency rooms for 18 hours. They're probably getting relatives to the front of the line for transplants and cutting edge treatments, while the average Canadian is highly encouraged to take advantage of MAID instead.
Does anyone recall a news story a while back (circa 2013ish?) where it come out that one of the large university hospitals had a VIP list for politicians and other so-called elites? From my recollection, some papers leaked from their board meetings. I can't find any articles about that specific event, but it seems that a VIP OHIP program existed in 2016. No wonder the laurentians don't care about the state of health care in Canada, they don't have to contend with it.
At first, the ministry denied that any such program exists. Then we told them that their own employee had confirmed it. Only then did they concede the existence of an “administrative function,” rather than a “program,” that exists to provide emergency health care in Ontario to “dignitaries visiting Ontario (e.g. Heads of State).”

When we followed-up to ask if the program applied to any Canadians, they expanded the list to include “both foreign and domestic dignitaries visiting Ontario. Domestic dignitaries include the prime minister and governor general.”

They later expanded it once more, to include former prime ministers as well (but not MPs).

We asked if any other Canadians get access — spouses and families of PMs and GGs, but have not received an answer.

“Considering the potential threat associated with advance knowledge of a visiting dignitary to Ontario, the distribution of this information is co-ordinated with the federal government,” Jensen, the ministry spokesman, said. “Typically ambulance services and local hospitals are advised of visits of dignitaries and any specific health concerns are identified through a notification from the nearest ambulance dispatch centre.”

Because it’s a federal protocol, it’s likely there are similar programs and protocols in provinces across the country.

This is obvious, but in a country like Canada that lacks even the ability for privately care it should be a massive scandal when the politicians skip it entirely.
Especially when the politicians spend all their time telling us how great the system is. How would they even know? Like when Freeland tried to tell us her kids ride to school on the subway in downtown Toronto (unlikely). Or how we don't need to own a car because she doesn't own a car (spoiler alert, she is chauffeured everywhere in a rented $30,000/month armored luxury SUV). I hate these "people".

Danny Williams flew to Florida for heart surgery at a good private clinic while he was premier of Newfoundland. I'm pretty sure anyone with the means to do so in Canada does the same.

Just think about professional sports injuries that happen in real time on Canadian soil in the NHL/NBA/MLB.

When an athlete suffers a major (or even not that major) MSK injury on the field, they magically know the extent of the injury via MRI within 24 hours to decide prognosis.

How are they accessing the MRI? Where? Who are they paying to jump the queue?

You or I could get hit by a bus or fall three stories and we still would not get an emergency MRI.

The athletes are heading back to the US for surgical consults and treatment, but the actual imaging is done here, bumping the public patients.

In teaching hospitals as well, wives and relatives of the docs and hospital admins are sequestered when they are admitted and it is made clear that the trainees won't be involved in their care like the rest of the plebs who get no choice.

>Reduce the cap at 50% in Ontario, 35% elsewhere

So, we get 250,000 per year instead of 500,000?

"Look man, we're still going to kill you, but instead the sawblade is 50% less rusty now! Arent you happy!?"

Also, how does it solve the problem currently. We still have the millions of indian immigrants already imported over the past few years, fuck off basically.
Reduce the total number of issued study permits to 364,000
See the above, but lets check the houses

Oh great, we're still fucked1705970301387.png

These are the only two good things, which are sure to be dropped later, but theyre completely besides the point. Stop trying to fucking import 300,000 new Indians every year, its not rocket science, you don't need to make it more complicated than that.

I can recall this too, but it may not have been in Canada? Not sure, but probably Id guess

These two might have an effect, since if you can't work there's no point in sticking in the country.

Government is adding a 2 year "cap" which will do absolutely nothing. Basically sealing one hole with tape while the boat has 50 other loose holes.
Take note of the cap lasting two years. That is how much is left on the Liberals current mandate and I suspect that they would reopen the floodgates if reelected, which is looking unlikely. It's the same move as the heating oil carve out on the carbon tax.

I really don’t know about you guys but I’ve been preparing for a while for something to really go down. Nothing is functional. No election will ever fix the rot. The management positions that exist in every single branch of government or public service has been infected with retards.

My boss telling me we had six months before he thinks shit hits the fan cemented I’ve been right about what I’ve thought about for at least the past half decade.

If people didn’t decide to ruin our nation things simply would not be this bad. Blame whoever you want but if people don’t start rioting and burning the right buildings down it’s over. We are going to set up the Conservatives (who are liberals and if you don’t think that you’re a faggot) and we are going to use the Gov funded media to spin it as a super scary right wing narrative. All in a vain effort to avoid an invasion by the United States. Which they are going to do. We are bought and sold by China. We are going to be used as an invasion front within the decade. Those fires were to burn out areas for military expansion. Now I admit that one is actually crazy, and I’m open to being wrong on it. Let the rage burn. I’m getting rabid watching my society crumble and erode. I hate. I hate so much. I treat everyone with kindness and yet I feel malice and competent brewing. Everything I could have ever been insane about is is unfolding. I JUST WANTED A HOUSE. I JUST WANTED A FAMILY. Now my home town is filthy and swarming with brown trash. This is worse than being a failed state. all our evil overlords are laughing as they rape you. They are raping you right now.

You’re only as useful as you are needed by others.

That's a little quick, but plausible. That has time for people to reassess their finances after any changes done at the start of January, and tax season will be in April. Plus if the Democrats decide to trigger WWIII or something so they can suspend elections then we will be roped into it.

There was a scandal over a decade ago where the NDP leader and Paul Martin (one of the Liberal leaders before Trudeau) both used private clinics. Stephen Harper had a quip that was "I'm I the only one up here who uses their healthcard".

Also, so many of these fucking pajeets with hospitality management "degree". What in the fuck do you even do with that.
Be an assistant manager at a motel/hotel chain? Jeets seem to like buying up old run down motels to turn into chain motels.
The CBC probably just sees which way the wind is blowing and are adjusting their talking points accordingly.
The CBC has been a leftist mouthpiece for the liberal party since Harper was in power. In the early 00's they used to pretend to be impartial, now it's just the propaganda wing of the liberals.
We had something similar during the Ice Storm Crisis of 1998 in Quebec. Three whole weeks of no electricity, no heat, electric poles crushed by the sheer weight of the ice. We were adapted to the cold, but not at this weight.
Heh. I remember the ice storm of '98. Wasn't as bad where I was at but my parents and I had no power for like 8 or 9 days straight in the dead of winter.
Supports reduced carbon emissions :story:
Don't forget, you're the carbon they want to reduce!
Rob Ford may have. I long for the days where a crack smoking mayor was the worst thing to happen.
Yaahoowa took the wrong Ford brother. (:_(
Pierre Poilievre calls for the end of all subsidies for the CBC, but I see no reason why the federal government shouldn't just shut down the CBC. It contributes nothing to society except to carry water for the Liberal Party, I see no reason for the CBC to continue. The next government should simply shut it down. It's not like anybody watches anything on the CBC anyways except for HNIC.
The only good thing on the CBC was Kenny Vs Spenny and that didn't even get real good until it went to Showcase.
