Canada is a failed state

Not all countries had Vaccine Passports though and countries like Belarus and Japan didn't lockdown.
Belarus is a poor quasi-dictatorship and Japan is a collectivistic society where people can follow basic rules and guidelines without melting down. The so called vaccine passports and their usage varied widely by province. BC was generally pretty chill compared to other provinces, as was Alberta, but for those living in the Atlantic provinces it was a proper "papers please" hell.

The confusing part about it was that rules would differ depending on whether something was federally regulated (ferries, airplanes, etc), or provincially (buses, transit, hospitals).

Because of how this country is structured it's sometimes hard to talk about universal experiences between regions and provinces. If you want to talk about the border? Well the US was just as much a part of those restrictions.

Archive of True North profile of Eva Chipiuk

Short True North bio on Eva Chipiuk, JCCF lawyer who cross-examined Trudeau on the stand at the POEC inquiry in October 2022 (and authored by Lindsay Shepherd, former Wilfrid Laurier University TA and grad student who got Shanghai'd by commie profs for playing a TV Ontario clip of Jordan Peterson during a first year Communications seminar).

Chipiuk, along with Keith Wilson, were the two main attorneys on the ground in Ottawa advising the truckers and have been handling a lot of the failed COVID civil liberties court challenges so far.

Though I see Ms. Chipiuk's tweets almost daily (and find her a little Pollyanna-ish that Canada’s rot can be overcome with civility and cooperation), I didn't know her background.

- is only 44 (thought she was older)
- quit the law due to pancreatic cancer in her 30s to globetrot for 4 years
- became a yoga teacher upon her return
- had to close her yoga studio permanently due to COVID lockdowns
- returned to a normie lawyer job working for the City of Edmonton
- quit her job in October '21 before the convoy because they were forcing jab mandates on her despite working remotely from home

I’ve seen the Century Initiative being talked about a lot. It’s an organization advocating for 100 million people by 2100. Most of the people in our immigration sectors are directly connected to this organization. It’s as clean as day that this country is due for biblical reform.

Why yes. Alberta is a lot more chill compared to places like Quebec where the unvaccinated were banned from buying groceries there. But that's no excuse to normalize them.

I used CERB initially because I was living with 3 other people including my wife who has asthma. I was employed with a department store at the time so it seemed incredibly risky to keep working there because back in March it really did seem like COVID was going to be Black Plague 2 Electric Boogaloo. So I collected and kept away from work for about 3 months before having to go back. I recently logged into the CRA website and it says my CERB from March 2020-April 2020 was 'redetermined' in November of 2021. Due to some circumstances I didn't realize this until now, but no action has been taken towards me since then as far as I know. It's all just a big mess. It was funny calling the CRA and getting a disclaimer saying "we celebrate the diversity of our agents across Canada.' and then immediately getting connected to a pajeet like every other time I've called them.

Well they have ceased to exist.
Skipped the mention of BC eh? Even in Alberta the rules varied a lot (for example Calgarians going out of the city to what was it, CrossIron Mills to shop mask free?).

That restriction applied to stores bigger than 1500sq.m and you weren't banned from "buying groceries", but you did have to use delivery services or order&collect.

This was done by a CAQ government by the way, a conservative leaning government that expanded their seat count in the 2022 Quebec election by 14, so it would seem Quebec wasn't overly upset by their admittedly overzealous restrictions.

CrossIron Mills required people to be vaccinated to eat at the cafeteria and if you weren't vaccinated, you're required to have a negative COVID test to go to the theatres. Some places like Dickens Pub had full on Vaccine Passports. It's such lunacy to see people roll along as if nothing happened when it comes to shit like Vaccine Passports. I fear the because Canada want's to sign away to sovereignty to the psychopaths at the WHO that this kind of shit may come back again.

I hope Brian Mulronoy ends up abused by a Negro Orderly in his nursing home. Fuck him, Century Initiative my ass.

Did you move? You would have been sent a letter from Service Canada instead of CRA to repay the $2,000 initial amount that they handed out to anybody who applied to CERB or EI.

Most Canadians didn't (and still don't) consider it unreasonable given the circumstances at the time. Vaccination proof existed for a short while and when COVID became more manageable it went away.

You lived through a hopefully once in a lifetime pandemic, I don't know why you would expect the status quo during such an event because that's an unreasonable expectation.

They were brainwashed into accepting the new normal. The fact these draconian measures don't disturb them disturbs me.

It had certainly emboldened various levels of government to assume more powers under the auspices of a public emergency as various dictators had in the past. Hell, I believe that many governments would have held on to the restrictions for much longer had it not been for the Freedom Convoy, which led to the ouster of politicians like O'Toole and Jason Kenney in Alberta. Trudeau himself had a bizarre obsession with the vaccine and appeared to push for 100% vaccination plus boosters, which he used as a wedge issue from the 2021 election onward and damaged the nation's social fabric.

Most normies are superficial and disdain any sort of deep thinking so they will not question the main narrative. Most live in blissful ignorance of the government-corporate partnerships that existed since at least the post-WWII military-industrial complex. It isn't inconceivable that governments would get in bed with pharmaceutical companies with tens (if not hundreds) of billions in contracts involved.

I’m shocked! Shocked I tell you!
Jagneet is Canada's Nikki Haley.

Pierre is Canada's Jeb! (or is it Andrew Scheer?)

Bernier and the PPC is the only hope for our nation.
Which means nothing short of a violent revolution will save us.
Hell I think Russia and the Americans should negotiate.

America gets their precious Ukraine right on Russia's border while Russia gets Canada right above America's border.

He's a career politician who will say whatever it takes to gain power. He has no morals, he has no real positions, he has no "hidden agenda."

Once in office I believe he will govern mostly as a fairly conventional conservative, most positions will be based on what polling numbers say is more likely to win another vote.
Does America have an equivalent to that? Maybe Bill Clinton in the 90s, would need to go to a very different era to find anything similar.

Still it's preferable to Trudeau.

Absolutely shocking that PP doesn't want to give the media sound bites to use against him that could cost him an election. The leader you guys desire couldn't get elected in Canada.

Bill C4? That's a bill prohibiting conversion therapy which is known to be both harmful and pseudoscience/religious nonsense. You can still quote the bible to condemn the evil homos, but you can't perform conversion therapy and that includes using the bible as part of it.

Josh here wasn't arrested for "speaking out against gender ideology" he was arrested for trespassing after being given disciplinary action by his school. He's painting himself as a hero probably because he's figured out it's easy to grift his audience.

Not saying I'd be okay with Putin annexing us, but healthcare probably wouldn't get any worse, I could probably learn Russian about as well as a good portion of our workforce speaks English currently, American fast food franchises aren't a big loss, and I'd rather live around gopniks than the brand of homeless junkies or malingering soyfaggots defrauding healthcare/disability benefits that I put up with currently.
