The medical system isn't going to last as it exists.
Already in Ontario we're seeing a major rise in private clinics, with surgeries even taking place in them now.

This suggests that what we're moving towards is a two tier system, one where the publicly funded healthcare is shit, and where the private healthcare is, you would assume, better, but actually costs money.
The conspiracy tard in me and left wing side of my politics would actually assume that the current Ontario progressive conservative
government enjoys this, as they've been trying to privatize and cutback on healthcare for a considerable amount of time now- but imagine this:
You will still pay taxes for healthcare- so Ampreets mother can stay in a hospice, and the rest of the services will be shit, and youre also going to pay insurance premiums for private clinics on top of that. I suspect, with some posters stories of care for their elderly relatives being shit if its publically funded, we're already largely there tbh
But thats where I think we are heading. This also goes back to the failed state shit, because this is what you tend to see in Brazil, Mexico, etc.
