It doesn't matter if it's a choice or not. Straight people also shouldn't be talking about sex to little kids without permission from the parents (and showing exactly what they plan to teach). This discussion is so ridiculous. Telling kids about sex (unless you're teaching about safety only) is not a right to be defended.

My mom lives somewhere where she regularly sees Ontario, Quebec, and Prince Edward Isle plates. There is a huge Canadian diaspora and by god they are the most annoying motherfuckers.

The snowbirds are wild. My son is still young but I’m committed to my family’s wellbeing, and that means if I am lucky enough to get grandkids I plan to be live close enough to help the parents during the early years but not be under foot.

These boomers literally leave the country for half the year with barely a FaceTime call, I couldn’t be away from my family that long.

I think it stems from the good old "young people just don't want to work nowadays" coupled with the "every nationality that isn't Canadian or American (aka I don't associate with them much and have never visited their home countries) is harder working."

Every time Carney opens his mouth he looks more and more over his head. This guy can't speak and furthermore, he becomes clearly irritated and agitated when asked a hard question. A lot of the workers they try to surround him with at rallies seem disinterested in him and avoid any sort of contact. Anybody that actually works for a living should despise this guy.

One thing that just absolutely stumps me is that almost 15 years after the Occupy Movement people see this central banking lizard as a genuine savior. His policies are beyond stupid and he would absolutely destroy whatever remains of Canada's industrial base.

Condolences. I reached the point where I realized literally nothing I could say could ever penetrate their ego defenses. The TV has to say first in order for them to ever believe it. Brainwashed to perfection alongside a cargo-cult tier belief systems.

In triage boomer age gets you treated very well. Things like cancer diagnostics, etc. Front of the line. If you develop cancer or cardiac issues in your 20s, 30s even 40s now you are solidly fucked. No front of the line and no boomer will ever believe anyone died because they spent year(s) waiting on a wait list. That is not their experience so it must be 'your fault'.
