Canada is a failed state

This isn't america, we have a parliamentary democracy. Our system is similar to the UKs and many other European nations.

Coalition is essentially just two parties agreeing to vote the same thing. Ie; if Cons and Bloq form a majority together, they could agree to vote for eachothers interests. Cons agrees to vote for French smelly cheese and in return bloq votes to a build a wall. Both bills pass without needing to consult the other seats.
I'm fine with the Cuckservatives doing a majority with the Quebec 'nationalist' junkies.

I think someone in this thread suggested, as a joke, that the Bloq could run candidates in other provinces. I don't see why not. They love to pearl clutch a lot about "Quebec being a nation." Well then, they'll have to get used to (theoretically) behaving like one and spreading their influence elsewhere, least they prefer having a lower median household income than West Virginia.

Liberal Minority, here we come. No PPC seat makes my blood boil.
Liberal minority with no chance of a coalition with the NDP. Severely doubt a lib/bloq coalition based on their history.

The silver lining is that it's a minority. They'll need to convince enough con/bloq/ndp seats to pass anything. Con/bloq can easily stonewall them.

I think so, but just to protect our culture outside of Quebec. There's communities in northern Ontario or New Brunswick that might welcome it. Also folding back to Quebec only means abandoning greater reach. The Quebec government has bigger ties with actual foreign nations like France, Belgium, we have diplomatic/cultural bureaus in Europe but do nothing to defend other French-canadians.

Can’t wait for Trump’s tweet tomorrow congratulating his “great friend” Mark Carney for winning his gubernatorial election and that he looks forward to helping him make Canada the 51st state.

Would totally break these boomers’ brains.
Trump's been doing that the whole fucking month and they still think they're playing a 5D chess move by giving him exactly what he wants and keeping Canada an economic garbage dump. He can stay retarded longer than you can stay solvent, no amount of chicken dancing fixes that.

Whoever won this election, Trump would have still have won in the end.
Conservatives= ""Conservative ally"" to Trump
Liberal and NDP party= Quicker collapse of Canada for the 51st state plans

well with hope this Liberal Minority falls pretty fast

They will have to go to the Block to get anything done and the Bloq always wants it's blood price.

Either way, this is a really bad call for Canada and doesn't leave much hope for the future. At least until the bloody boomers die off and stop burning the bridges behind them out of what can only be spite.

Con 149 + BQ 25 = 174, or two seats above 172 for majority.

Unless there are major changes by tomorrow morning, or if the BQ opts to self-implode Jagmeet-style, I'm not buying the "lib majority" fearmongering.

Quebec politics is such a batshit insane history of back to back radical revolutions in ideals, assassinations, overt patriotism, intense hatred for Canada, all while staying bottled up just within their borders, that they're not viable outside of Quebec.

And I suggested they run coast to coast. Because they are Based.

holy fucking kek, I literally just watched this video by some random canadian and he's talking about this. in the middle of the video some people next to him in the forest just start foraging for food. this might be fake but I really doubt it because he's just some software engineer guy. big if true.

Doubt the Libs will have any issues getting Bloc support for key bills. It'll certainly do enough damage to Carney's image for other things such as the massive incoming walking back on resource infrastructure - i.e. pipelines - he'll have to do to keep the the Bloc happy though.

Real unknown here is what happens with Poilievre and the Con leadership as that will likely dictate more when the next snap election occurs.

Bloq hates the cons. Literally never going to happen. It's why we are memeing it, it'd be hilarious. It'd be the Rush Hour of politics.
