Canada is a failed state

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Waiting for PP to do the same when he loses his riding so that all the smug CPC voters can have their leader be as irrelevant as Max Bernier. Suffah Cuckservatives.
Poluevre has given the conservatives the biggest popular vote since 1988 and has successfully punched through to the GTA and greater vancouver. I think he's pretty secure even if carleton flips

This shit baffles me. The boomers in my life will see the rise of crime, and the lack of fear criminals have of the law, and will say it's bad. They're shocked at how expensive groceries and housing have become. They'll complain about the sheer amount of immigrants coming in and soaking up our social services, and damaging our infrastructure. And yet, the moment they step behind the little cardboard shield, they vote for the party that caused those problems, and will exacerbate those problems. Fuck it, let's just become 51 and get this over with, since we obviously can't be trusted to elect a decent government

So we've found ourselves here.

A liberal government

I'm not going to jump on the doomposting, though yeah- boomers bad, old people bad, old people literally sold their children into slavery (paying their social services if were lucky enough to get jobs) and replaced the rest with Indians-

all to own Trump.

Where do we go from here?

For the conservatives, perhaps this will push them to actually address the immigration elephant. Perhaps not. Their biggest fumble is the fact that PP embraced the jeet, had no plans to reverse the mass migration (let alone stop it), no realistic plans for addressing the housing crisis (while adding more jeets), etc. Maybe campaigning to get those Brahmin Brampton landlords on your side wasn't a good idea I guess.

But I have my doubts on this pushing the convervatives towards anything- because like it or not (and I don't like it), those 8 million jeets are now a voting block.

If youre an accelerationist, thats that wake up moment for the rest of Canadians. Even if you vote, our politics are so far gone, that theres no hope of electoral change to address the jeet menace. You are on your own, realize that. The government is already Jeet occupied.

If we get to the liberals:

Congrats, you've realized that all the 'but I didn't know Trudeau would import infinite jeets' or 'but I didn't vote for economic decline' were bullshit. Every. Time. They. Are. Pushed. They. Vote. Exactly. For. This.

The older people get their daily propaganda from CBC, they froth at the mouth, the vote liberal as they are told, and they continue to add to the problem. There is no hope for them. I hate to use the term sheep, but they are literally sheep to the slaughter. If you didn't realize that before, this is your wake up call (once again, for the 5th time over a decade). They are not your friends, and I wouldn't even call them your countrymen. Traitors to their own offspring comes to mind.

Let them accelerate their own demise. In fact, give them a helping hand. Nothing good will come of this, don't be around for it.

So where does this leave you?

On your own. You can't rely on the electoral system at this point. You can't rely on the geriatrics for anything. If youre a millennial or younger, your priority is yourself, your generation, and to survive. Help your community. Help others when you can. Try to help your boomer parents, but- look after yourself and realize we have a long road ahead of us, because the boomers do not understand the problem they enable.

There may be positives here. At least Carney is a central banker and has connections to the neolib order, the UK, EU, and the broader world.

If theres any silver lining, its the hope cope that maybe the CAD will rise a bit. If it does, my advice is- take advantage, trade off a high Canadian dollar if it does rise, invest the money in something more stable if youre domestic, trade it off to a safer currency otherwise, and get out.

If you can leave do so. If you can't, find yourself a small town, look for an industry insulated a bit from the jeets, or just square off your own bases. We're not going to have a political solution for this, and we have to start realizing that we need to better our own lives primarily, and can't rely on the state anymore. Albertans may be realizing that Ottawa is long gone, and for the rest of the country, you have to look to your own personal solutions.

Sans rambling more, good luck kiwis. I hope you all do well,

and I hope you remember the day when people will inevitably complain in a few years and then try to stave off 'well I didn't want all the young people to leave the country and Indians to manage my retirement home, but I just had to own Drumpf' or 'Well we had to promise as many Indians as possible that we would support importing their Khalistani family members, it was the only way the conservatives could win'.

I don't know if its right to say that the liberals won this election, but yeah- the conservatives fumbled it.
