I always see like TikTok length clips of Indians mocking their Chiefs for wasting all the money, or giving preferential treatment to family members. The only people who don't know these things are people who pretend to care about them so much, but never have even spoke to one.

I don't know about this one. Maybe in the rural areas, sure, but you can say the same about Quebec but then someone will freak out on you about QC City and Montreal being immigrant central. And the martimes are and always have been full of military people, who even if they aren't fresh off the boat jeets, are like 90% people who moved there as adults from somewhere else in canada.

Only reason why the re-opened that investigation is because Justin Trudeau opened his yap about it way back. I have been following that trial closely and those guys are clearly innocent. The crown's own witness, Steenbergen said that the girl walked out of the bathroom naked and started playing with herself in front of the players asking them to fuck her... When none did she called them pussies. They also have videos of her consenting. They were using this trial to attack white men and hockey culture, but since they need hockey culture for their faux pas "patriotism" to fight against the US this trial will be memory holed when the players are inevitably found innocent of all charges.

Grass is always greener mentality. The further you are from something, the easier it is to ignore its flaws (and the closer you are to something, the more prominent the flaws become). Unless Alberta refuses to let in just anybody, they may end up like Texas (which is slowly becoming more liberal as it lets more and more immigrants and liberals in).

Interesting, at the very least she should be open about her identity. She shouldn't be able to hide behind a publication ban if she wants people to treat her allegations against them seriously.

Chatted with a canadian today. He wanted Canada to handle its own oil refining and struggled to understand why it's hard for Alberta to spend billions of CAD + nearly a decade of planning and construction to build an oil refinery. I suspect he thought that building and running industrial complexes on this scale was just some click functionality in some forex game. It was hard to get him to grasp that it's just way lower risk and lower effort for Alberta to ship their oil down to Texas for refining because they've already sunk the principle investment and developed the expertise to handle their specific oil composition. Bringing that back to Canada means reinventing the wheel and a bare minimum 10 year delay, during which time funding could fall through for myriad reasons.

I'm really starting to suspect Canadian liberals are actually just stupid. They're not even malicious. They just have a child's understanding of the world. This particular canuck was actually advocating for importing gay jeets. I have found a cucknadian so thoroughly stupid that he actually believes the jeets claiming asylum on homosexuality grounds are telling the truth.

Both the Liberals and Conservatives have this belief that we can magically just start developing shit just because we have the land, all of the bureaucracy that Justin layered on to the process would need to be stripped and people like Steven Guilbeault would need to be out of cabinet for those corporations to even consider coming back here, and that doesn't touch on the alberta separatist movement throwing the markets into flux. The government won't build shit especially because we're already 1.5 trillion dollars in debt
