I hate to sound like a downer, but that still means that most of them voted left (unless a decent fraction of them voted for PPC, which I personally doubt). I agree with the belief that in the current democratic societies, at least in the major cities, women lean more to the left, while men lean more to the right, though I’m not entirely sure how much this would have affected the election results. I really want to address the world around me with fair kindness and respect, but I have to confess - the more women I see outside with unhinged facial expressions the more I want them to be downright forbidden from voting.

Yeah, especially the climate change - humanity hasn’t learned how to predict a weather forecast for the next two hours, yet some lunatics who want to exterminate all cows and force everyone to carry reusable bags to grocery stores, like it’s USSR, think that the Earth is unwell.

If Alberta really does start to collapse it'll just join the States and rebuild. We'll have a cold civil war with Texas over who has the best cowboys (even if Texas isn't aware of the war)
 
I can't think of enough predictions to make a full bingo card, but here are some of my guesses for what will happen during the next four years of Carney leadership:
  • Red Ensign is legally declared a hate symbol, its sale is banned.
  • Jeet factions commit huge acts of terrorism against each other and this is framed as bad for ALL us REAL Canadians.
  • Kiwifarms and/or Twitter is banned in Canada, at the least, somebody is given hard time for posts online.
  • 15 minute cities continue to get funded, but not a single one becomes a reality.
  • Big race schism happens à la Austin Metcalf, but nothing-ever-happens chuds win once again and it's forgotten.
  • Liberals turn on Carney specifically because he cucks to Trump in some way.
  • All the temporary students successfully avoid deportation.
  • (Optimistic) The boomer learns to hate and gets at least a bit racist.​

It's to be expected that most younger voters trend left, usually been the case historically (something something people vote left until they start paying taxes meme). For the Cons to effectively break that by tying or edging out the Libs in that demographic though is unprecedented and shouldn't be ignored. It shows the true degree of pain that many avowed leftists, including women, dumped the Libs/NDP and held their nose to vote Cons because only the Cons were directly talking to their concerns.
 
I always ask them what time it is, because everyone outside of the Maritimes forgets that we are EST+1 (Especially if they are 506 or 902 phone numbers).

The scam texts are doubly obvious because they'll pick a batch of numbers like 555-555-0001, 555-555-0002 etc. and harass me with them for a few days.

recently they've been doing the thing where they have a loud screech sound after a period of silence. I'm guessing that when the autodialer connects to an actual pajeet to handle the scam the system has a temporary glitch during the connection process. Either way the sound is very distinct and is solely from scammers.

I agree with you to an extent. But a lot of construction and trades companies vastly underpay their employees. There is so many cheap bastards at the top who will brag about record profits and in the same breath try and claim that an electrician doesnt deserve market rate. So it's hard for the other races to make a living there too.

Mind you, we've all seen dashcam videos of trucks being driven badly by jeets. If a semi crashes on the 401, it's guranteed to be a street shitter. If the same assholes that run trucking companies own construction and trades companies, the number of workplace deaths and shitty quality will absolutly skyrocket.

Usually the tell is if there is a long period of silence after you pick up the phone
 
This video gave me much to contemplate on regarding Canada's ongoing leadership crisis.


One of the common refrains I hear in Carney's defense is that he's a Harvard and Oxford-educated economist who was governor of both the Banks of Canada and England (not to mention whatever credentials he stuffed his CV with) therefore he is most qualified to lead the country. The biggest problem with many intellectuals is that they view the world through a rigid scientific/economic/social model that they stake their reputations on. In Carney's case, it's the climate "crisis" so a command economy overseen by unelected technocrats. There is the axiom, "battle plans rarely survive contact with the enemy"--well, I would claim that scientific, economic, and social models rarely survive contact with reality. Assuming that he is a true believer in his cause like Paul R. Ehrlich, Carney and the Parliament Hill-billies in his cabinet to double down on the dogma as he believes that his education and career entitles him to the reins power. Someone has to save the unwashed masses from themselves.

Leadership requires adaptability and practicality, neither of which are qualities he possesses since he spent his adult life sequestered in the halls of power whether they be in government or the corporate world. I imagine that is the reason why he can lie so brazenly and act in other unethical ways. He lives in a world free from consequences and failing upward is the norm.

As for his supporters, they are likewise programmed to see the world through a rigid model so they suffer from the same narrow lens.

They'll go after normal people for using VPNs, but look the other way when government executives use them.

And would a single term be enough for Canada to forcefully implement a CBDC system?
