I feel like I'm in hell.
Every fucking month the same scramble for money for bills. The same stressing from dealing with that and a mother crippled by that fucking jab. Groceries KEEP GOING UP by the fucking month, disability payment stays the same.
I didn't get a say in this future. But I was to this shithole that these fucking boomers and gen X crashed so readily. Can't afford to leave. Can't afford to stay. Some days I get dark thoughts about what my future will be. I'm tired of scrabbling for every cent while a BPD boomer busts my ass and threatens to make me homeless.
Sorry for blog posting but fuck. Things just will not get better.
Not trying to sound like a third worldist, but people in places like Belarus, Russia, China etc are becoming more and more aware of how trash their governments are, especially younger people. While in Canada, even though younger people are also waking up
Your youth (America's to a lesser extent) are waking up to a property bubble that will out right crush your society. Canada seems to trail both the US and China in trends, with yall's monopolies on banking and iffy-at-best property rights, Canada is in for a shit show not seen since it's confederation when all the condos and tiny shit box apartments in GTA / Vancouver hit their real market value. The market corrections that have already occured are not close to what has to happen after Covid...

Current conversion rates are 0.72>1 for Canada 0.15>1 for China

The notion that an average sized home in GTA (141 m2) would cost about a million loonies puts you at over $7k Canadian per square meter is ridiculous.

In America, we are dealing with the same ilk of elderly having most, if not all, their wealth tied up in homes, my home was bought for around $900 per square meter but sits on a seventh of an acre on the Gulf of America. Texas also isn't in danger of random Injuns claiming stolen land, yea we stole it, it's ours now, fuck off. That's another similarity between Canada and China, the CCP owns the land and just leases it to you for 70 years; you own the box of shit on top of the land, maybe. In Canada yall don't even know who owns what and where the borders are, this is an irritant for appraising the value of the box as the land questions are in flux.
All that to say, Canada isn't up in smoke yet, when it is your
Federal government Economy will collapse, the private money is already out or one foot out of there.
