Although I do like the... this sort of style of video, because... one of the things that you have to practice when you're speaking in public is your rhetorical skills. You have to be decent at oratory. You have to be able to string together your thoughts in a coherent manner um that is... that is not ridiculous or boring (chuckle) from from start to finish, and you have to be able to do it consistently, and I think I'm getting better at that, and I think the video style is really helping with that.

I think he's actually getting worse at it, and talking to a camera all the time is probably not helping.

Well, just got through this. Not nearly as self-pitying as I expected, so good on Carl for that I guess

Three thoughts immediately spring to mind:

1. This gentile pulls in 12K+ per month in donations to make videos and he still needs the ad revenue because "it's his job" ? How much is he making in ads anyway???
2. Maybe his long form sargon videos aren't being recommended because they're boring nonsense rather than being deliberately deranked?
3. I wonder how long it will be with the new three pronged re-upload plan until Akkad Daily is demonetized for "reusing other content without adding significant commentary" , as happened recently in fairly public incidents to Tsundere Carl's favorite people, Jim and Ralph?

Couple of things just occurred to me:

• Carl should have no trouble finding out through Tim /pol/ what fair wages on video editing are
• That Carl is tendering this for offer to the general internet at "name your wage", or more accurately "lowest bid", suggests strongly that he intends to underpay drastically when he could use his connections to find someone qualified who costs about average market rates
