Sargoon has maybe judged that enough time has passed that he can finally tap dance on Jim's deathbed without recourse and decides to do so a bit towards the end of a 4 hour live stream. Old hits such as "he could have led a political movement but he just live streamed and collected super chats". The funny things I see are just how a lot of the shit being said here about Jim sound pretty retarded. From Dave saying that one must show constancy of character like Thomas Moore. I'd argue Jimothy and his whole "Laugh at retards on the internet" has been MUCH more constant than Carl or even Dave, for the most part. Hell, that's one of the biggest reasons why everyone likes him so much; because he, kinda like Dankula (WHO I DON'T SEE CARL SHITTING ON...HMMMM), are all about trying to stay fun on the internet and not take shit TOO seriously (And Jim does that even more than Dank.) Hell, their argument isn't that HE hasn't been constant; it's that the environment has changed. Basically, exactly what happened with Moore.

Also, Carl saying "I'm British; I'm very familiar with gallows humor." I'd argue the retard lost gallows humor, and then all sense of humor as he went more NRx and took anything and everything way too seriously.

Another thing with Sargon: "he's a very talented man generally. Like he used to do thoughtful videos believe it or not; and they were really good really good actually. um and it's disappointing that you got kind of audience captured by the lazy like just react to some stupid bottom of the barrel thing and rake in super chats." and later "I do, I do. It's definitely a personal failing of his."
Maybe it's just me, but those statements seem to apply to Carl MUCH more than it applies to Jim. (Though I imagine some over here would disagree with applying "talented man who used to do good, thoughtful videos" to Carl.)

Sargoy doesn't seem to understand that Jim never wanted to chase the idea of a "political movement" like he did.

Jim just wanted to point out the retardation of people online and laugh at them while selling decently priced hats.

I'd also argue that Jim affected more people politically just by laughing at them and calling them retarded then Sargon did by bloviating.

Remember, his 'claim to fame' was TWIS which was essentially finding articles about random retards around the world, calling them retarded and laughing at them. It's only when he started taking himself too seriously and trying to take internet shit into the real world without understanding how to do so, that he started losing the plot. And completely lost it after entering this kinda "Think of me as an expert on the topic; even if I or my people have no fucking idea what we're talking about" mindset he seems to exude nowadays. Neither of these two have any right to claim someone else doesn't know what time it is. Dave is trying to say that Chris Rufo hasn't won any battles when Rufo's been calling out his shots and knocking them out of the park all year. There isn’t a Portugal beatdown, he didn’t murder his wife, become a failed fighter/coke tard, or reveal himself as an unrepentant hedon.

Yet there was an absolutely intense fascination for him and total disdain against him for about a year and a half. And I often forget why that occurred.

I think the reason he copped it was for two reasons. First, is that he is utterly unlikable as a person as you pointed out, Carl is not someone anyone would want to be around, and as he moved from edited videos into live streams that became more apparent. Second is Carl also lacks a sense of humor, whilst not as unaware as Patrick Tomlinson, he does, at times, possess that same arrogant smugness of doubling down in a self congratulatory way whenever he gets made fun of (which always makes the situation worse) and that in itself is hilarious. Carl would make an awesome character for a comedy sitcom because he is both a total cunt and a total buffoon. You could have a million bad things happen to him and it would always be hilarious.

The issue I see is, as he's gotten right-wing, he's started injecting ideology even in places where it's retarded to do so, or talking on topics where it's pretty clear he hasn't even read the basics of the event/situation/topic. An example of the former being some tweets he was talking about a little while ago where he was using ideology to try defending why WH40K shouldn't have female space marines; rather than the basic "It's canon rule; get used to it or get out." or the shit Arch or Vee might say without having to get hard into ideology over it. An example of the latter being a vid he'd made a while back when 5 people in Florida caught malaria and he jumped to "Globalist Bill Gates has released mosquitoes that spread malaria."

Honestly, with how he acts, it kinda feels like he's trying to become a "British Alex Jones", however instead of Jones' yelling and over-the-top nature to mask any failings, Sargon aims for smugness and pomposity, which is REALLY worse. I will agree though, that if he got rid of that bullshit and acted kinda normal (which I assume he might when not on video/twitter), he'd get more friends, rather than sycophants.
