I will say I respect Raye for this. Shes putting a very mature take in this comic, at least recognizing the flaws of her work, thats something I don't see too often, mainstream leftist creators seething about criticism calling everybody some buzzword because their content was bad and no one liked it

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't one of the reasons why HGS turned out to be shit was because it was hijacked by a tranny taking over this femoid's show and that's how we got this atrocious troon professor scene?
https://youtube.com/watch?v=Dkjxw4BqVwc
Anyways her whining about her life's choices and financial mistakes reminded me of another tale of people shitting on a piece of work.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=MobkO51msMIOnce upon a time people HATED this undertale animation and thought it was the cringiest shit for a good while. Fast forward a couple years and suddenly it's gotten the "Big Chungus" treatment where people have gained an ironic appreciation for this little video to the point of making their own memes out of it.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=f8tGW5B43o8https://youtube.com/watch?v=TYOicIvLYWkhttps://youtube.com/watch?v=CJATWt1KbMAAnd throughout all of it, the guy behind SoU never sperged out or hide it away out of shame, in fact as time became kinder to him it seems he really embraced the new meme life his animation has for him.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=7igkrXICjLkhttps://youtube.com/watch?v=fFyBznTpVMUAll this to say is that her show could have meant something, whether good or bad, but the fact that people give zero shits about HGS in current year shows how utterly boring and devoid of any value it ever had. Some shows do get lucky and manage to get a second wind cult following, but there's no way High Guardian Spice will ever get that kind of "High" again in its life.
Also you should've gotten into side gigs or flip burgers just to get some cashflow you dumb bitch, lmao.
Raye should have learned the phrase: "Hi, can I take your order, please?". Much easier.

Also the Twitter/Bluesky autism from animators living in another dimension is hilarious. Like the Steven Universe one who pooned out and did a pixel thing of "beating brownshirts", where reality would go MUCH, MUCH different.

Is there even an explanation on why people are obsessed with the Hijab?
Having a child wearing a hijab implies that child has hit puberty. Seeing a little girl wearing a hijab means she's either being "protected" by her parents who are themselves trying to protect her from sexual predation, or she's hit puberty and her religion dictates she has to wear it. Both of these are bad. Both of these are broadcasting what should be private information to the world.
If you ever see the look on a little girl's face when she first meets her friends again after starting to veil, it can be heartbreaking.

"Go elsewhere if it's such a problem for you." Oh, they do. That is why your industry is dying and people are happy about it.

I love animation as an art form, years ago I was expecting a golden age of animation, hell, I wanted to learn and and do animation myself back then. But now, what could have been a really good time for animation, ended up being just gay and lame. It's a pity that these narcissistic idiots took over and gatekeep everything.

Seeing all the fallout and where other, more professional showrunners are now, makes me glad I never joined the industry. I stayed out because I knew it was that bad, but seeing how far it's fallen is both vindicating and depressing. You see it over and over again, these media industries are full of people with no life experience doing fat Jewish trigender pancakesexual lesbian tea parties, jerking off over their feelings and doing nothing productive whatsoever. It's honestly a waste and a major reason people don't respect animation as a medium. But ironically enough, in an economy like this, you can't afford not to diversify. Sticking with a shallow, narrow skillset that's rapidly slowly depreciating is a recipe for disaster.

Still, the future looked so bright before the 2010's and it's a shame things turned out this way.

The bright side, in the sad situation is that the Bluesky users are a cult. They will only double down on their insanity as their situation gets worse. Their pride will be their downfall. But to be frank, I care more about the craft and what can it do than see retards online suffer.

I mean sure, it's not rational, but I really would feel bad about entire art forms just vanish due to a mix of technical advancement, short sighted market forces and the workforce's sheer insanity.

I think you've dodged a massive bullet there. I can't even imagine what it would be like to work with these people. Sure, it is funny to have a chuckle or two at their nonsense from a distance, but when your rent is depended on going along with troons lording over you combined with the shitty pay must be brutal.

I don't think it's irrational at all. Animation is still part of our cultural heritage and lets people tell stories that wouldn't work in live action. It needs massive reform starting with troons and Bluesky. That doesn't mean it can't find a place in the wider market. I think it's shifting to an extent, with online animation being funded through patrons and alt merchandise, but only time will tell wrt AI. Not to mention how most people in animation are essentially gig workers in a shrinking industry. It's obviously not trash mining in Syria but it's still fucked.

those hijab obsessed people make me wish for a troll or subversion in a show that has a woman with a head scarf and they keep showing her off and implying she's such a hecking great representation and then have the plot twist revealing her as an orthodox christian (maybe a brown Coptic Egyptian orthodox Christian). I want that so I see the muslim fetishists cope and seethe. headscarves are not unique to muslims lol

Too much animators are trained for an industry that's bleeding jobs since the second half of the 20th century in the US. In the 70s and 80s at least you had your Hanna-Barbera and Filmation slop factory to work at. Sure, nobody wants to work on the The New Shmoo, but it's a living.

I don't know what can be done about the human resources involved. All your trained animators in the last 10-20 years are these clone people it seems.

Indie animation could work. It's risky AF, but maybe we will have some gems. If you have a cool personality and appealing characters merch and crowd funding can totally work.

Yes! Something like a Traditional Christian or so, where women also covered their hair, but not to the point akin to muslims where they cover the entire head or parts of the head. The Coptic Egyptian Christian is not a bad idea.

The "KiwiFarms Animation" idea we had is a cool one, but it was just an idea. Hopefully it is something that can be taken off the ground. Would love to see the skill of many talented Kiwis.

That would be cool, and man I can imagine the seething if it actually ended up being something nice. I imagine some old school-ish cartoon shorts with a kiwi as the protagonist.

Kiwimation Studios could be a thing, we keep coming back to it but someone needs to start the thing. The second worst outcome is we embarrass ourselves and just have a dead group chat somewhere and a bunch of drawings that never went anywhere. The worst outcome is we never try.

Well, one could set up a group DM for that topic.

Still crazy to me how utterly buckbroken leftoids are when it comes to that. Feminists from 2015/16 would see how really unprogressive it is to hide away a woman's body like that all because some pedophile "god" says so. But I guess when you're brown, literally anything is possible if it puts hwitey below you.

Virtue Signalling needs no consistency. All it need to do is to be the opposite of what the people you think are beneath you are thinking. It's simply about feeling superior to poor White people. lol
