Christ Almighty have mercy on us. There’s a french creator named Thomas Astruc that acts exactly like this, especially in relation to the block button. I thought he was unique a guy that got too big an ego, and didn’t know how to act or be decent to people online, but no, apparently it’s just industry wide rot at this point.

Social media destroyed the concept of “never meet your heroes”, because now they will show you who they really are weather you like it or not.
At this point if I run into something I like, I simply make sure to avoid the creators and the fandom.

Vincent Waller may actually be an ABDL given how much diaper shit had appeared in everything he's in charge of. So of course he'd draw Trump shitting himself like all the other libtards obsessed with shit.

That's pretty much it. Never meet your heroes has never been so much true ever since the election of Donald Trump. I have no idea why, but it was.

Speaking of French artists, this made me remember the artist who drew a character by the name of "Maxine". It's a pornographic one, but I remember he was up to no good, with the likes of Zone. Anyone have any info on him?

I think it was just the perfect storm. Social Media allowed you to talk unfiltered. It gave you instant dopamine hit when people like your posts. The smart phone gave you a camera 24/7 so you can record yourself and live stream, Trump broke a lot of brains thanks to the ‘He’s the next hitler mantra,’ and they needed to take a stand and get the crack cocaine known as likes. Put it all together, a lot of people out themselves as assholes that think they’re better then the pions they entertain. It sucks but Social media for all its good, is a duel edge sword that gives a voice to the people who probably shouldn’t have one.

I hate to say this, because this is the double edged sword of the Enlightenment: it gave more people the right to express themselves, allowing some who have good ideas to come forth and contribute to society, while halfwits and lackwits to contribute. But being honest, this isn't something from the Enlightenment - but a consequence from it that would eventually culminate in Social Media. "Every person has two things: opinion and an asshole, they both are shit". The problem with this thinking is that you automatically ignore potentially good opinions. This is my case whenever I eventually have a gander at social media.

If I absolutely have to use it, and I see "something something help said person", my mind does a trigger to ignore helping a person out of spite, but then I think "wait, calm down" and see it better. It was indeed the swarm from this derangement that we saw of suddenly so many people going nuts, from the lack of a better term, that to some you just better say "forget it, I'll ignore". It was like that when there was an ad - I was using my smartphone, mind you - and it said for a tranny to get help to get an artificial womb to help be treated like a woman. I said "Wow, fuck you. This is not the type of shit you advertise to me". Out loud.

I really hate how him and Vincent Waller are the two SpongeBob alumni that actively don’t shut up about trump on their social media. Especially when they aren’t getting into current events, they can make some pretty decent stuff
Define "alumni." There from the beginning? Cuz as long ago as it's been since season 4-onward, if they didn't come until the show started to fall apart around then, I wouldn't consider them alumni.

Given how long SpongeBob has been around I wouldn't be surprised if two-thirds of the animation industry were technically SpongeBob alumni.

Anyone else noticed female Disney adults and hardcore Anime shippers are all find Mabel pines and Star Butterfly relatable? The overlap with cringeworthy anime fans and adult cartoon fans appears to be Gravity falls and Star Vs the forces of Evil. The show started popularizing shipping in Disney shows. I noticed how Disney adults age like milk. Glitter Em is only 22 years old, but she looks in her mid-30s.

I'd owe part of that to Tumblr's sharp rise in popularity around the same time, which shipping is extremely popular on. It also extended to other media, like Homestuck.

Waller’s been on the show since the beginning and DeRose has been on the show since 2021. Waller is more of an alumni than him considering he’s the only remaining crew member from the classic years to still be involved in the show.

"Be who you are" message is cancer. It leads to what we see nowadays.
By the way, Balak is also a Crypto-Jew (considering that his pseudonym is the name of the Moabite King from the Book of Numbers):
This never sat right with me. Yeah, he definitely sounds like it. Also, thank you for linking me about Balak, @Life is Hell...
