let's talk why the modern cartoonists are so insufferable.
The industry is, like all media and entertainment industries, deeply incestuous and nepotistic. It's not about what you know but instead about who you know and it creates cults of personality that disallow original thought.

Is there a possibility for a cartoonist/artist to not be a degenerate or into pornography, have good ideas AND not have shitty politics? Would be good for a change.

This talk of Savino makes me think - was he the "brain" behind Loud House, but also its downfall?

Really? Did he fell of recently? His little videos tended to be funny?
oh absolutely, he sucks up troon propaganda, he hates the confederacy, shills for dumb gooner suppliments, and pretty much all of his videos are just him getting people's attention by drawing characters that are like 2 or 3 ft with boobs the size of those parking balls at target. as mentioned by @harmy.kook check out his thread, you'll find a lot of him shilling and crying that he's not getting any views whatsoever from his "animations."

Dumbsville made a new video critiquing Bioshock, which doesn't really matter, but this disclaimer he made did made me smirk a little. He immediately thinks "Someone isn't interested in watching my video that pertain to politics?" with "They must be an overly sensitive right winger who sucks off to other right wingers/Youtubers I don't like." I swear he had similar disclaimers from his older videos but I can't find them.

And lol to "sensitive fragile worldview" when leftists like you crash out over the mildest non-politically correct joke/meme/topic.

I remember this fag, he used to talk about shitty sonic shippers, then turned into a movie reviewer (and a shitty one at that), and I guess now is a video game reviewer? His skate 4 video sucked, granted I have no strong feelings one way or the other about skate 4, but I don't despise it like dumbsville did.

The worst part is that it tells me he truly doesn't understand that Bioshock is a critique of libertine Ayn Randian ideals moreso than any other political belief.

Jesus, look at that absolute creature.

He started doing media reviews cause his idol sonic93 was burning bridges with all her friends and he reached out to her and rebulid her reputation then she backstabbed him which mentally fucked him into not doing sonic stuff any more

Damn. You got me.
Well, i never learned names properly or is one of the first thing you forget over time.
But enough about me, let's talk why the modern cartoonists are so insufferable.

Is still Hirsch active or something? And not insulting someone in Twitter?

Savino is fucking dead after the #metoo incident years ago. But nobody liked the same guy who drew an incest furfag comic. Who knows.
I wonder if he got fired for that why didn’t sugar get fired for that ed edd and eddy stuff

Foster's was some kino shit
I LOVED Foster's as a kid, but watching it back it's just so fucking screamy and mean. Bloo is the worst and he's the fucking main character. I love the concept and the art, but ugghh it's just insufferable as an adult.

I think he got fired for being creepy to his coworkers, not for porn he drew a hundred years ago.

I think Foster's suffered greatly because it didn't have firm enough grip on the impact of the imagery friends in the world. By all purposes almost anyone could create imagery friends from nothing (we actually saw Mac's brother doing this) and those friends had practically no limits on their powers. Why would something like this be seen as childish rather than root to absolute control over everything? A friend that could a super soldier, create infinite food, healing touch and so on.

Not to discount what you're saying but I actually kind-of like the idea of a show about something extremely powerful that's just dismissed by the wider world as "kids' stuff".
It is a frequently abused trope though. It would have to intentionally lean into it.

Wow man, you should start a youtube channel and overthink every children's show. Really suck the magic and fun out of everything.

I recently went to an 'animation night' - this thing a local studio puts on for its staff where all the employees get free reign to make one minute shorts and showcase them to the public - and I warned my buddy going into it: "listen there's two things you need to know about animators. They're all perverts now, and even though this is billed as a 'free speech' event, you're only going to see one kind of speech."

It was basically what I expected - lots of dick and fart jokes and making fun of Jesus. When we walked out of it I asked him if he noticed what I meant. 'Seems like they could say whatever they wanted,' he replied. I pointed out that there was no making fun of lgbt or Mohammed or anything like that. It was 'free speech' because they had pushed out and fired anyone who didn't conform to the one kind of speech they liked. The light bulb turned on in his head (he is my friend after all, I don't make friends with complete retards,) but that little revelation won't change the industry. AI reducing the cost of inbetweening will though. There's a lot of talent out there that can finally afford to compete on a patron basis.

Dude this is something bothered me about the show as a kid and why I didn't get into it. I was confused about the imaginary friends and how they function within their world because that was big part of the series premise. I don't need complete iron tight continuity, just basic principles.

Just look at Powerpuff Girls. The show doesn't just forget that girls are superpowered even though the powers loosely defined and mostly work with rules of cool, dramatic and funny. The show simply establishes they are nice girls that prefer use their ultra superpowers responsibly. So we get mainly superpowered crime fighting but the girls still use their powers for housework, impressing others kids, general movement and other petty stuff.

I think Ed Edd 'n' Eddy suffered greatly because they never made that episode where Ed finally stands up to his shithead sister. I didn't read any of your gay post past that, Foster's is zased fuck you.
