I think this clip from over the hedge emphasizes the "plight" of black people, heavy on the quotations with this one.
 
This is a addition to the post I made yesterday about people whining at someone's post about Hoppers being a "Christian" film due to not having woke crap in it. Again I don't know if Hoppers is woke or not and I have no desires to watch it since it has a bad art style and it involves the creator of We Bare Bears. Is this guy being dramatic or what?

Yeah, that's a fucking lie.

While the film doesn't have any gay characters, what it does push is Marxism.
The whole deal with the animals in Hoppers is that they're basically a collectivist society that shares everything, even allowing themselves to be eaten if someone gets hungry.
They even have a rule for it called "Pond rules." And if anyone dares to go against these rules, they will kill you... I'm serious, they will just straight up kill you for going against their order.

Hell, the main protagonist is an environmentalist, that's her entire character. There's nothing else to her, and the film tries desperately to add depth to her character by throwing in a dead-grandma backstory for her.
It's emotionally manipulative, and it barely adds anything else other than to make you sad.

For more context on this film, here's an early review that goes into detail on what it's about and precisely what's wrong with it.

Either way its a win for Pixars since the kids watching this film aren't going to get any of the Marxist reference and all the disney adults are too busy gaslighting people for calling this out.

What happened to sticking it to the industry and especially disney?
Danas work is honestly the worst out of the 3 imo but at least she actually gets shit done (with a new project actually greenlit with a successful pilot very quickly after her last major project) and seems to believe in what she preaches.

Tho maybe Alex his rebellious fase was only because he and Terrace were dating at the time, and now that shes gone he can go back to simping corposlop and make himself seem more employable.
