I'll be honest, i've seen most but not all Teen Titans Go! episodes. The show is okay. It has some funny moments here and there that did make me laugh and references that would go over any head of a kid. I don't understand why everyone goes into Mr. Enter mode bitching about this show. There's hundreds, hell, thousands of channels to watch if this show is on. I remember when the show first aired, people were complaining about Raven watching and playing with pony toys because her VA, Tara Strong, voices Twilight Sparkle in MLP. People were basically crying saying "RAVEN IS NOT A BRONY, SHE'S A DEMON". I'm sure that was the cause of all of the TTG hate videos spawning all over Youtube. The tears were delicious that day.

It's amazing this triggered everyone.

Cartoon Network has been shit for over ten years now and the only recent show I like was Regular Show. Of course as said, the channel doesn't exist to appeal to our demographic. However, it did cross the line when they stopped airing classic Tom & Jerry shorts. It was sort of a staple you would have expected to always stay.

Tom and Jerry still airs in Boomerang. On a side note Time Warner really needs pro wrestling back. It just ain't the same.

Whether they like it or not CN isn't really aimed at the neckbeard demographic. And they aren't obligated to show only thing that they want to see. Some adult loser who watches a children's network all day should have better things to do than complain about the lineup.

Reminder: most of this wouldn't be happening right now at all with these fuckers if stuff like Steven Universe or Adventure Time (what they obsess over the most) didn't exist, honestly. That's all most of them care about, anyway, so...).

People were bitching when those shows ended - same with all their precious 90's / other early 00's stuff, m8.

History repeats itself all the time with these fuckers.
 
I mean....people still care about CN?

I used to watch CN when at grandma's when I was a kid(since we couldnt afford cable TV) and it was fun. I loved the action shows and the classic LT cartoons that have aged like wine.

today, nobody gives a hit about CN. The internet is far superior for finding and distributing good shows. CN is just another cable TV network that is facing it's incoming mortality and desperately trying to stay relevant, by spamming animation that little kids eat up. It's for kids, it always has been.

The :autism: of these adults still giving a hit about a childrens TV network is astounding. If these sperglords worked actual jobs and didnt still live with their parents, they could just go buy the DVD of the shows they loved sooo much, and then move on with their lives instead of getting hamstrung on TTGo of all things. Of course, that would assume the people upset at CN were properly adjusted adults.
I will fully admit to still loving the original loony toons and tom and jerry cartoons, and owning all of them on laserdisk (remember THAT fucking format?). Because they are still funny as shit.

If I understand correctly, it is because the show is so drastically different in tone to the OG teen titans cartoon. Why these individuals care so much when the old ones are on DVD is anybodys guess.
 
TTG is better than the old one anyhow. Its not an overdramatic soap opera with weird emo-edgelord characters changing personalities every episode
 
You can debate about the state of Cartoon Network all you want, the point is that only lolcows watch cartoons.
 
I kinda wish this Cartoon Network was like the one in the Philippines. That one had a mix of old and new cartoons and even anime and sentai(badly dubbed English from Hong Kong). Back in the 90s it was like Nickelodeon, except instead of Nick at Nite, it had TNT which showed classic movies and WCW Nitro, until the final broadcast. It was until last broadcast of WCW that Cartoon Network PI became 24/7(guess Filipinos love their rasslin!), and TNT was rebranded TCM PI no more rasslin, while Cartoon Network PI showed Samurai Jack, Naruto and The Simpsons(yup, Philippine CN had Simpsons instead of Family Guy). Now that I mentioned it, they should really bring back wrestling to Time Warner/Turner. GFW ain't cutting it as an alternative to WWE, if they can broadcast gross out adult shows or violent anime surely they can put wrestling back.

Didn't Cartoon Network air that anime version of the Powerpuff Girls in the Philippines? It never aired anywhere else except for one state in the US and Japan. Though i could be wrong.

Yes. It even aired Rock Odyssey, a Hanna Barbera film that never got a US release.

It's almost as if these guys don't understand how marathon events work.
Granted, they probably do, but only if it's shows they want to watch.

The way the spergs talk you get the idea that they air Teen Titans Go for six hours a day, which may be true. Someone showed me another schedule and Teen Titans Go took up a big majority of the time as well.
 
So this morning between 6AM-7AM, CN decided to air the original Teen Titans series out of nowhere and after that you get your daily dose of Go. Checked around for reactions, most tumblr users are crying tears of joy that it's back. 4chan, of course, talks how shitty the show is years later and pointing out flaws.
