CenturyLink/Qwest/Layer3 blocks Kiwi Farms

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Does Josh want us to email the trace rout reports? Kind of seems like it would be a lot since everyone seems to be having troubles.

Can I create a brave browser tutorial, so people can know how simple it is?

that way people will know ahead of time in case it gets more screwy?

what section can i make that?

I’ll try out the connection at home and get onto being a nuisance with my ISP call centre later. It seems to make sense that this is a bank holiday thing, a rogue tranny pushing some buttons as a little present to No Dong and co.

Getting nothing but Request Timeouts via Verizon in NY, was able to connect via Onion.

Some fuckery going down right now.

During my last message I was able to connect through clearnet, but now I have to use tor on Spectrum wifi (competitor of CenturyLink) and it also doesn't work through clearnet on my AT&T mobile data. What the actual fuck? Are multiple ISPs pulling this shit at the same time?

Unable to connect all morning through O2 in Western Europe. Non-European VPN seems to be working in the meantime.

ETA: Dutch mobile carrier is also down (from outside NL). VPN through the Netherlands works though.

Someone said that 50-60% of the Internet is unable to access KF. If this was a DDOS attack it would effect the entire access to the site instead of just portions of it? Trying to pinpoint if this is for sure ISP related.

Arelion (Telia / Twelve99) has whitdrawn the announcement of the Kiwifarms prefix so there is no Tier 1 currently announcing Kiwifarms. You don't have to send Null traceroutes it's pointless. Only direct peers of Terrahost can still connect everyone else can't. Your ISP isn't blocking the farms they just don't have a route to it.

Had to make my windscribe connect to france because out of nowhere the farms got blackholed here, funny thing is that even the damn technician said the farms had no issue and weren't blocked but since this was a "specific site" case they couldn't do much than say it wasn't them, TOR WORKS ON MY MACHINE THOUGH.
Weird Shit.

Unable to load the site using the handful of USA based VPN servers I've tried. Most European servers are working for me. Dropping the VPN still lets me connect via clearnet. Small ISP which I assume is using Mediacom backbone.

Local ISP cannot connect me to the Farms. Did a tracert on the IP and the connection reaches them but bounces back and forth. I have just sent them an email and have threatened to terminate the services if they do not fix.

Edit: Verizon mobile does not load, but Brave VPN can get me in.

Verizon FiOS is not connecting this morning, either. I will email along my trace route shortly.
