CenturyLink/Qwest/Layer3 blocks Kiwi Farms

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Site is blocked for me in Greatest Ally on both wi-fi and mobile data; however, it works fine on a VPN set to Tel Aviv. If anyone keeps up with upper-case eye internet spergery and happens to know what the laws about this here are, I'd be much obliged. From what I gather there is some notion of net neutrality but I'm not sure what the caveats are.

Boomercons have considered net neutrality literally fucking Satan for years now because it's 'for big tech' and is 'government interference in commerce'. You expect that to turn on a dime because you can't reach a site that one of their luminaries thinks swatted her and 'needs to be off the internet'?

I guess it can't hurt if you could pull it off. But I'm chuckling at the clutching of "Go on Tucker" as a talisman.
My prediction is Republicans will call it something entirely different, say, the "Anti Censorship Act" which will be net neutrality in nearly everything but the harassment policy and name. Then the Democrats will also turn on a dime and clutch their pearls about it because it must be a neo-Nazi bill to come from the right.

Kinda a symptom of our broken system.

Reporting in: was using a VPN for something else today and ProtonVPN blackholes Kiwifarms for the US server I was using as well as others, I tried four others around the US with no luck. Works fine on other countries.
Semi interestingly Reykjavík (some of these news sites treat that as US) was no go (timing out), but Prague is fine for VPN (using IVNP) connection. These troon network engineers need to realize that Kiwifarms always wins.

Seems like my ISP is peering directly with terrahost. (austria)
Correction, my phone isp works (A1 via Hot) but my home one doesn't. (energie ag/power speed).

Weirdly enough I can get to the "page couldnt load" page on my home isp but no further. My home isp also is peered via hurricane to terra.

But enough about Discord.
Not really talking about discord which technically has legitimate usecases.

There are sites dedicated to pretty abhorrent and illegal shit that exists just fine without interference on the clearnet.

No way Tucker is gonna take this.

Plus Josh was supposed to be able to take a holiday, not go on some media tour defending his site against crazy rapists and animal abusers.

Can confirm. ISPs basically shut down and are skeleton crews during the holidays. In part because nobody wants a fucking outage in December whatsoever so they lock their networks down and make no changes at all during this time period. It's actually interesting someone snuck through a BGP config change right now, that's usually taboo.
If some rapist called my significant other I'm not sure I'd be bold enough to stick to standard operating procedure instead of saying fuck it and let people above my paygrade clean up when they come back.

You can get Tor on mobile and also use Orbot as a Tor VPN.
Orbot works fine on my Android phone. I didn't even notice that the site was blocked until I tried to access it on my computer and my other phone a few hours ago.

I'm in the EU, and I could still access this site from anywhere yesterday when I first saw this issue featured.

It also fits neatly into an already-established narrative that conservatives are being censored online with the recent Twitter revelations.
Conservatives are not going to push the 'conservatives are being censored online' narrative if they have to hold up a bunch of edgy nigger-saying literal neo-nazis getting censored. Mainstream boomer conservatives would want Kiwi Farms censored just as much as woke trannies, they're just not tech literate enough to have ever heard of us yet.

Oh, and I just checked the Patch sale page on Mad At The Internet and it's also giving me grief. Damn, I was gonna buy a set of patches or two.(:_(

I was just joking. Real examples are how ISIS had multiple forums and publication sites up on the clearnet until they got got in real life.

Boomers sitting in Congress who know little to nothing about the Internet are not going to care about us. I recall from one of Null's streams last year he said that the Internet got more regulated after 2007 because normies on smart devices went on the Internet and got angry over what they were seeing, so the Internet got regulated. We're more likely to have Congress passing laws that make the Internet more like a sanitized corporate parking lot like what these megacorporations want.

Why are you people not connecting via VPN 100% of the time in the first place? Seriously, give me one good reason.
Because I live in a country where the ISP's aren't sniveling rats and don't roll over like heroin-addicted stick up kids the second a deranged tranny emails them or a LEO backchannels them for an off-the-books favour.

Probably late, ATT appears to be blocked as well. I wouldn't doubt it was another mass harassment since DDOS doesn't appear to have too much impact anymore. If folks don't really believe that we are at a civil war, they just aren't looking hard enough. I think it is fair to say USA wants to be a dictatorship hidden behind the mask of "democracy".

Edit:
Spectrum is the ISP but considering they are owned by ATT, may as well leave them up as well.
Can confirm. Farms are no longer loading with my phone on data, unlike previously.

I was able to connect via clearnet last night but am now darkposting from the spookyweb because I couldn't connect via VPN with a US ip today. I'm still going to laugh at insane troons even if I have to connect with tin cans and a string so they can continue to cope, seethe and dilate through the holidays.
