CenturyLink/Qwest/Layer3 blocks Kiwi Farms

Been using Tor since this all started, my connection still works on the clear site I tried afew hours ago, I was wondering if it does go down who do I contact for the UK? I don't think we'd be part of EU net neutrality.

For those complaining to their ISPs and getting replies like 'the Kiwi Farms was blocked because it violates our policy' I genuinely wonder how these companies would respond to the question of: "So, will I run into the same issues if I happen to stumble upon radical Islamic propaganda online using your service? The websites that host footage of terroristic acts and beheadings? How easy do you think it'd be for me to access a page like that right now?" Because I guarantee that they don't actually give a shit. There's no feasible way for them to pick apart every corner of the Internet with a fine-toothed comb. The fact that they immediately cave under the threats of mentally ill cross-dressers is so fucking shameful.

Anyway, I have no issues connecting via Verizon or T-Mobile. Everything is relatively stable on my end, for now.

What the fuck is even happening :story:

Taken down by a fucking BOOMER paper pusher.

kiwichads, I...
As someone else said, I really don't think he has much blame.

He's only the weakest link, the reason they did this now was because most of the staff is on holiday so guys like this are left basically alone to handle all complaints.

And when his family starts receiving threats (for the first time in the 30 years he's worked there) for something Google tells him is basically illegal, I don't think anyone should fault him for buckling.

Literally any community without 100,000+ instances of the word "nigger" has better branding.
I'm pretty sure there are individual users here who have said nigger more than 100,000 times.

This site needs a legal team Null. I know it costs a lot of money but I think you need to defend yourself in the legal space.
Null already has and know lawyer(s), and he lives basically from hand to mouth so I think having lawyers on standby is a bit :optimistic:.

:semperfi: to all the kiwis out in the fields and their letters of rightful indignation. Remember that enough people being a pain in the ass can accomplish much more than one may think.
And special, heartfelt thanks to the ooperator who's drudging through this shit instead of enjoying the well deserved holidays. It's crazy to say, but the fate of this little cyber freakshow club may significantly influence the future of communications as a whole, and it's encouraging to see a person like Josh dedicated to keeping it afloat despite everything that has happened :semperfidelis:

My connection was working quite well until the last 20 minutes or so. Are more ISPs joining in?
I've done all the cmd tests, and it seems like I can connect fine with the exception of trying to browse the site on clearnet, where I get anything from 503s to 408s. This looks like it's more in Null's network than any ISP fucking around.

Looks like they're attacking the DDoS provider Josh set up to route around the blackholing?

The last few hops did have an abnormally high ping, that's probably it.
If anything this just proves how impressive Josh' homemade DDoS protection is, he should seriously be able to sell hosting to other marginalized sites.

When he tries to use a third-party "professional" DDoS protection service it starts to buckle, when things have been fine for weeks.

Well, it looks like I'm joining the gang via Tor in the meantime; looks like my provider's been hit.

I'm fairly sure this is troon DDoSing.

Because the ISP's started blocking the Kiwi Farms addresses, Josh set up a professional DDoS protection service to instead receive connections from users that lost access. And I suspect that DDoS protection service wasn't expecting the seriously illegal types of attacks that Kiwi Farms has been receiving for years now.

Shit has been real up & down on my end and it's most definitely my ISP. They're a nobody rural company in a conservative area, so it's likely a case of being pussy whipped by the higher ups. The moment I turn my VPN on things work perfectly fine.

As annoying as this is at least it'll root up some entertaining troon shenanigans. Got to find at least some silliness in this doomer situation.
