Makima and Power's voices are higher pitched than I expected, I had imagine she'd be soft spoken, but leveled.
I'd imagine Denji speaking in a more slang tone, but Aki sounds like I'd expect him to.

Just watched the first episode, holy fuck it lived up to the hype !!!

Cannot wait for the rest to come out, instantly my favorite anime.

(Intro and outro make me coom HORD they fuckin slap the endorphins are making me lose me mind with an unquenchable need for more of this show)

as for the manga, its too early to judge it yet but im liking the new characters so far (war demon is cute, CUTE!).
 
That intro is just crammed full of references to movies and such. Very fitting.
 
I really loved the first episode, that now I just want to read the manga because man that probably is my favorite first episode of anything.
 
I've got to say, just from what I've seen in this first episode, it sounds like manga readers weren't overhyping. I look forward to watching more and depending on how much time I have, I might look into reading the manga.
 
Kenshi Yonezu makes great anime openings.
 
Absolute bangers all around, opening and end are awesome. So happy it's turning out good so far, and soon I'll see my boi Angel.

No they definitely were, but it's a series that was always going to work better as an anime so maybe it'll be justified retroactively.
It's a fun read, it's not bad or anything, but I'm gonna predict waiting for the season to be over first would be a better move.

Also, man that fucking OP rules.
