People forget that the Falling Devil represents the fear of actually falling and falling into depression.

Tanaka spinal cord sword! Is not something I thought would ever make a reappearance/cameo.

Also the art is pretty good now and has been for a while. Hopefully the slump or burnout Fujimoto was on is over.

I agree that his paneling and character designs are top notch. However I’ve been getting frustrated with part 2. A new character will show up with the coolest fucking design ever, and then they do nothing and die. But that’s more of writing problem now that I think about it.

One of two possibilities:
(A) She's fine.
(B) She isn't fine, and Denji is going to have to do something drastic to save her. I think that's the story beat being set up here.

This should be point where he puts his foot down and decides he's just not going to take the universe's shit anymore, starting with getting over his guilt.

At least, that's what I'd like to see. It's about time this whole "Denji must suffer infinitely" arc had some payoff.

Maybe out of guilt he performs some sort of self-sacrifice to bring her back.

Whew, am I glad Asa/Yoru lives, but I still dread that Yoru will be the death of Asa since the former continues to be built up as a big bad.

Looking into speculations, it seems that nukes might have been re-invented naturally since the materials to build them still remained.
Alternatively, I've seen someone point out that Denji got sliced in the stomach by one of the swords which might have been how nukes got back out.
