Being seen as cool rather than scary does seem to take away from the strength of the demon. It’s why Makima was able to take on ChainsawMan so easily compared to how Poockita was in hell, people had started to love him rather than fear him.
In general Chainsaws are at a weird position where they aren't even weapons and their appeal is more heroic characters battling some evil than vice versa, not to mention their existence is very recent unlike the other devils. It might explain its unique power but that's probably reading too hard into it.
Vampires are more of a "bats are scary" kind of deal. Also the Fox demon is pretty shit, plus there might be a regional thing where the abilities of demons depend on the beliefs of people in an area, which would make a lot of sense.
Their strength at least, yeah. We've seen them actively feed on fear and get stronger in a given situation so it makes sense that if you're something people are only scared of in a particular place then you'd hang around that place where you'd get more juice in the moment.
If the Zombie Devil can exist then it would make sense for a Vampire Devil to exist.
I think it would have 12 which would make sense. So I think this will end with the Katana Man fight ending. Then a second cour would probably cover Bomb Devil and Assassins.
yeah he starts out fighting the tomato devil and in the OP it looks like he's fighting some sort of pastry or an IUD or something devil so they get pretty specific.
Its 12 episodes, but this is probably one the first season, or first cour of the first season, so we will probably get 12 more episodes covering the second half of Part One.
Hopefully it will be 24 since the optimal amount of episodes is: 8 for bomb girl, 8 for crazy psycho lesbians and 8 for HOLY SHIT. We're at about the one third point for the first season and I don't think there is a good dropping off point without padding or cutting the other arcs
Yeah, no. Unless they cut A LOT they are absolutely not going to be able to fit the last "half" of part 1 after katana devil in 12 episodes. Its going to have to be 24 minimum to cover bomb devil, gun devil and control devil.
Kobeni is ironically the most well adjusted person in the cast cause I don't think I'd be super calm if I worked a job where I'm constantly at risk of dying in horrible, albeit interesting ways for a government pension, which is what I find endearing about her, even the part where he's crylaughing hysterically after kicking Katana Man's ass. She's not my absolute favorite female character in the series so far, but you can be best girl and still not get the crown.
