The bit where she had her head function independently of her body just after transforming. It wasn't really cloning as much as splitting and letting the devil pilot part of their body, Denji just did it for longer.

I don't think so. Assuming everyone's fear of authority didn't change much, people would be a lot more afraid of a high-level devil hunter with a reputation for pulling insane powers out of her ass than "some kid."

I don't disagree with establishing your main character's powersets ahead of time, but Nayuta wasn't unreasonable.

That's kind of my point tho. "Some kid" is able to mindhack the concept of fear of authority, but can't contorl more than 3 people at once.

On the scale of 4 people vs the concept of justice you'd think the concept of justice would be harder would it not?

Or do people just not fear authority to the point where even she can mindscrew it?

Her restriction is still "has to feel superior to her target," meaning her strength changes based on her and her targets' confidence. She was sneak attacking Justice, who was terrified and doing his best to survive Falling, meaning he posed no threat to her. Meanwhile, the mob was furious at her, and she was shaken by her apartment burning down, so that was worst-case scenario.

Wait am I misunderstanding something? Justice was trying to SURVIVE falling? Wasn't she who was trying to feed him the war dish?

Same thing. She threatened to kill him if he didn't finish it.

I think Katana man is at the beginning stages of an identity crisis where he realizes that killing/beating Denji won't bring him happiness or satisfaction, sort of a parallel to Denji realizing various things aren't automatically going to fix his life once they happen.

Well that and that he secretly enjoys being part of a group and having pseudo friends.

I'm 99% certain the Public Safety Division has something truly nasty up their sleeves and absent outside intervention even gigachainsaw man is getting cooked. My guess is War intervenes.

Quanxi? She's still with the special division. Rez's whereabouts are also unclear.

Fami could bring out either the Falling Devil or Fire Devil too since primals are really the only thing even remotely close to the same power level as a fully powered up Chainsaw Devil.

I think your all forgetting that the point isn't to kill the Chainsaw devil. Its to power him up so he can take on the devil that will bring humanity to extinction (presumably the "death devil" if I had to guess) by making people more afraid of him than death itself.

My assumption at this point is they want to steal his power or at least siphon some of it off for themselves, at least going off what Barem was saying.
 
Even with the rules of hybrids that Barem is not dead from what Denji did to him, it’s still satisfying to see his head pop off.

Also there’s more cope for Nayuta with how out of focus her head was this chapter.

But Pochita coming back is exciting and I can’t wait to see where this goes.
