Yeah this is a very big distinction to make, don't know how they'd fuck it up since the difference between "old age" and "aging" is really significant.
I don't like the subplot about removing aging. There's enough shit going on, no need to go on the billionth iteration of "Japanese boomers will kill their grandson for one more year", and definitely not doing it in the most edgy way conceivable. Not to mention that in a universe so fucked you'd need to be insane to think removing aging won't put you in an infinitely worse state.
Also wouldn't that do zilch unless the effect spreads to the Cancer Devil?
Considering he can still puree anything that gets within a hundred foot vicinity that's easier said than done. Then again without a mouth he can't drink blood to recuperate injuries so maybe it becomes an attrition battle.
What I am curious about is what will happen to Denji after this fight and how will he be defeated?
Since I feel this fight is the equivalent to the International Assassins Arc in where we are in Part 2, since Barem and Fami are both alive, and the Death Devil is the big endgame boss who has yet to appear (unless the theories of her being Fumiko or Kobeni are true)

Nah, Pochita deeply cares for Denji above all else and I think he knows what they are trying to use him for. So he specifically hunted down the mouth devil as a way to intentionally deprive them of his ability in order to allow Denji to live a more normal life.
Will it work? Probably not, but its something I can see Pochita doing.
I'm curious as to how "no mouths" functions. With the ears, people could still hear, just not as well, because only the outer ear was missing. Do humans still eat via a different orifice? If so, presumably Chainsaw Man can still eat people the way anyone eats anything, whatever way that may be. It only actually changes anything about the situation if people now get sustenance from something else, like photosynthesis.
This seems like a pattern imitating the three wise monkeys. First it was ears, which is hear no evil. Next was mouths which is speak no evil, so third is obviously see no evil which is eyes. And what is public safety doing in general to contain Chainsaw Man? Evil. Clever what Fujimoto is doing if true.

If he can still somehow drink blood and heal himself? He's no less dangerous. Otherwise, he's either going to get murked by some exceptionally powerful devil(I agree, probably Yoru) or whittled away little by little until he finally goes down.
New chapter had no dialogue but was really fun to read. Denji is really kicking everyone's asses, but I feel so bad for Katana Man, he is doing his best but he keeps getting his ass whooped.

Gotta acknowledge the sheer balls on those random dudes rushing him with crude stone spears. Also there goes Asa's other arm. She just can't catch a break, can she?
This whole sequence reminds me of the Darkness Devil fight from Arc 1.
