It's good that Denji and Asa are finally having a talk one on one, I hope Asa gets more screentime as we've seen Yoru a lot lately.

I'm also interested in seeing how Denji is going to "murderize" the Death devil.

Also that last girl is definitely a Horsemen devil judging by her eyes, but I don't know if she's the reincarnation of the control devil (R.I.P Nayuta :() or the Death devil...

Definitely agree that its great to have Asa back, lets hope she does get her screentime because Yoru pretty much hogged the spotlight for almost 30 chapters.

I think she is the Death Devil because the Control Devil by nature has a desire to act above it all and Nayuta was going to become the next Makima if she didn't read Denji's memories. Control Devil is MIA. As for Death, I definitely think the new girl is Death herself or a harbinger that will be a herald of her, could also be a curveball and be a Satan/Hades Devil or the Pestilence Devil given Pestilence has not been covered while it is said that Hades goes with Death in the Four Horseman tale. But I do think if it is Death, it would be a smarter decision to have Death be a red herring antagonist since I feel like it is clear Yoru, Fami, Fire Devil, or Barem has that role as the main villain while the Death Devil is a red herring, and I think the best way to convey that is make the Death Devil harmless or kind as I thought she'd be a child that could cause Denji to hesitate.

As for what Yoru's plan is going to be, I theorize Yoru is wanting to cause endless war and she'd probably want Denji to kill Death since it would be important to make war truly endless if there is no Death, and Yoru does want to bring back nuclear weapons. That is something I can see that is worse than Death.

It also goes without saying but when the fuck is Kishibe/Kobeni/Reze coming back? They're like the only Part 1 characters yet to return. Kishibe is especially egregious.

Controversial opinion:

  • That's not Death. Everyone's made a big deal about how Death won't show up for another month.
  • That's not Control 3. She's acting nothing like either Makima nor Nayuta.
  • That's not Fami. Fami has no reason to disguise herself.
  • That's not Pestilence. As much as I want it to be -- Makima used the phrase 'four horsemen,' but everyone else just said 'sisters,' and I have a whole other conspiracy theory about how 'four horsemen' includes Pestilence and Conquest but not Death.



  • That's Yoru. Asa outright said she kicked her out. We've never seen true form before, just how she looked while possessing Asa. She's scared of pretending to be human without Asa's help.

P.S. Also, she's Fakesaw Man.

So the new girl was indeed the Death Devil (Maybe Nayuta is still alive! :)) (COPE)

Since she's able to communicate and with her intentions, which look to be misguided, I wonder if she could be reasoned with?

I'm guessing that this Chainsaw Man isn't the real one based on his appearance. I'm wondering if this could be the Fakesawman that we saw way earlier in part 2

My crackpot theory is that it's somehow a fusion of the real Chainsaw Man with another devil, but I don't know how it could work?

I mean, nobody (especially Denji) noticed the huge scars when Yoru took over Asa's body; maybe people just don't care after all the stuff they've been through.
 
I guess so. The world is probably just that messed up that stuff like that is normal. Part 2 did start off with the class having a pet headless chicken devil after all.

Like eighty chapters later Fakesaw man finally makes a reappearance.

Fujimoto now has the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever by explaining nothing and having the character disappear for another hundred chapters.

Also Fakesaw said he's here to bring Justice so it looks like everyone who predicted Fakesaw was the Justice Devil won 5 shekels.

I’m torn because I would like to see the return of Kobeni but also it’d be funny to have this secret master assassin wrapped in a cocoon made entirely of anxiety just disappear into the world

I think I'm in the minority when I say that I don't really care to see part 1 characters returning (except Kishibe and Power).

I don't really see what Reze would bring in her return. As great as her arc is, I think it fits more as a self-contained story in the manga, and I don't think it would massively reduce what Chainsaw Man is if you removed that arc (and her by extension).

Kobeni could make for an interesting cameo. Although, after the end of part 1, I'd like to imagine that she went far away from where everyone is and is living a normal life somewhere else.

Power (Blood Devil) would be the one (with Kishibe) that I'd actually be interested in seeing return. I'd like to see what happens with the contract she made with Denji at the end of part 1 and what the new Blood Devil would look like.

On second thought, I have another new theory.

Literally the first thing we see about Death, our supposed top dog, is that she's terrified of public speaking. Thus, Public Speaking Devil is the real Great King of Fear. Why are we assuming that the King is a woman, anyways?

I wanna like Death so bad because she's honestly pretty cute, but there's this one gooner in a server I'm in who's spending obscene amounts of money commissioning vore comics from a specific guy. He's an actual artist too, which makes him spending probably hundreds on fetish comics even more baffling.

I've learned to distance myself from the fanbases of characters/media that I like. It's helped me to keep liking the media that I'm interacting with and not to have to deal with fans/gooners who ruin everything. Example: nowadays, Makima is just seen as a "dommy mommy" who asks you to bark for her and not the complex antagonist that she truly is.

Also, ask yourself this; is this a server you need to be in?

Finally, is this artist really asking for commissions for a character that came out a week ago and has not even been on 20 pages yet? :story:
