Most true crime channels I follow are fairly apolitical but a lot of the audience for true crime is fat middle aged cat ladies who tend to lean left. This type of reaction isn’t wholly surprising with that in consideration.

I don’t really think the appeal of true crime for women comes down to hating victims but rather as part of some weird misery complex I can’t quite articulate. They don’t really hate victims in general but as the audience seems to somewhat skew left there is a lot of selective bias in how certain cases are discussed, so of course in cases where a victim was right-wing those types wouldn’t sympathize the same way as other cases.

If the Communist Control Act of 1954 is enforced, a significant portion of the subversive violent left could be purged. It could also be updated to explicitly include allegiance to transgender ideology, antifa, and DSA as known branches or caucuses of the communist party so that a judge can't argue otherwise. If so, people like Ilhan Ohmar, AOC, Timothy McBride, and Karen Bass would no longer be able to hold public office.

If you're thinking in an abstract way without considering the context, then yes. However, if you have been aware of the world around you for over the last few years, you would know that this is a summation of the media normalizing violent actions towards Trump and right-wingers. It's not a coincidence that a man shot Kirk with a bullet called "Bella Ciao." It's also not a coincidence that thousands of people are being fired from their government jobs for celebrating his death. You want us to believe that the constant demonization and normalization of accusations of Nazism and fascism towards your political opponents, aimed at dehumanizing them, isn't a factor why people are trying to murder them in public for simply debating ideas.
