I have been annoyed with this cunt ever since it was revealed he was part of the secret City of Heroes private server that existed whilst everyone thought the game was dead and the source code lost. Essentially people who were a part of that server perpetuated the lie that City of Heroes was gone, never coming back and never getting any private servers. And the people involved would dox anyone who threatened to reveal the existance of the secret server. There was all kinds of essentially cult group think going on. Lots of weird shit, including a spider diagram of everyone who was invited to the server and who they invited with personal details. It was fucked up. Old Charlie made a video mounring the death of City of Heroes WHILST he was actually playing on the secret server. He meekly admitted he was on the server after the whole thing was revealed many years later but got assmad when people called him out as a liar. He's not actually sorry for lying to and emotionally manipulating people. So as far as I'm concerned Critikal is a two faced little bitch. The whole situation with what happened with CoH in the end is a saga worthy of a thread but so much happened and there were so many lies it's hard to research anything. And it would make this thread go off topic.

Found the video where he first lied. Whilst watching, remember that he had full knowledge of the secret server and was actively playing it whilst crying crocodile tears in this video.

I'll be the contrarian & say no I don't think he's a lolcow. You can think he's a gaywad for saying something is the biggest poopy fart of all time, or being more if a twitch personality, but I think he has stayed consistent in how he thinks & tries to stay humble. An example is when he made videos about the DefNoodles drama he did listen to channels with less than 1,000 subscribers when they told him he got it wrong. The thing about this guy that separates him from someone like Hasan is he is aware of his position & what he does & how's he's perceived & that's probably why he's been around for so long.

I admit I really enjoy his older videos, for what they were they were pretty entertaining. His newer videos are a bit of a mixed bag for me. Some of them are entertaining and some of them are meh.
But I'm also not a big fan of daily uploads in general. I feel like they're just a lazy way for larger youtubers to bank off of ad revenue. I'd rather a youtuber take some time and create videos that are orginal or interesting rather than talking about the same youtube drama or current viral videos that every one else is talking about.

Charlie is most definitely riding out his youtube fame for as long as he can. However, I don't think the guy is lolcow. At least not yet.

I think the last couple videos I enjoyed were when he was into the Russian Slapping match scene and when he introduced his dad and his slot car obsession. The fact that his dad has the voice you would think a pipsqueak like Charlie would have instead of the deep voice he does was pretty cute as well. Was pretty wholesome before going into dumb internet beefs he only knows bits and pieces of and expects his opinions to be taken as facts.

I respected Charlie for a long time with his schtick of video game playthoughs where he acts completely emotionlessly, which was a refreshing change of pace from other YouTubers who always exaggerated their reactions for the view counts.

He did his face reveal a few years ago and changed from simple video game playthroughs to social commentary, which I found less interesting but at the same time he seemed much happier for doing them. I did enjoy his chess video where he beat a chess master and was recorded live shouting profanity or something. He did cover a few major events such as the Dream saga, but if anything, he's started to go down the path of commenting on random events and dressing them up as bigger than they are.

It was him beating xQc in 6 moves during a chess tournament. So not exactly a master but it was still fucking hilarious to witness, especially watching the reactions of Alexandra Botez and Hikaru Nakamura. I think xQc was actually getting mentored by Hikaru at the time too so Hikaru's "dead inside" reaction was doubly hilarious.
