He's a "fence sitter" in the sense that when there is a big controversy he won't come out and say the absolute most libtarded thing ever, even if he still has both butt cheeks slid firmly over the blue side of the aisle.

Another mask off moment was when he went after Synthetic Man in defense of the Fallout show because Synth made the very obvious observation that every single couple in the show was mixed race as a form of obvious miscegenation propaganda.

The podcast episodes are filmed like 5 days in advanced, so it will be quite a while before we see the fallout from this incident.

I went on to check their patreon and it looks like the newest episode was uploaded there for members 3 days ago, so predating the drama, but it's yet to make it onto the YouTube channel. It seems delayed. I haven't been able to see anything from anyone in the podcast posting anywhere since it all happened.

Probably the smartest move from them but I guess we will see?

Exactly. He also argues the most simplest position, “if they want to do it let them”. However, this topic isn’t one where that “let them do whatever they want” position isn’t fence sitting anymore and he unintentionally took a side in the argument. So when he has to justify it in the context of kids having agency in these matters, he falls flat. I don’t like Moist and I think he deserves this because I think he always ducks in a corner, makes a video with a milk toast take, and people think he’s the pope. Now he messed up and divided his audience, who are probably fighting amongst themselves in Reddit and discord.
