I would wager a lot of these redditors imagine themselves as "climate-change activists" who are "very concerned about the future of the environment," right?
So if you really want to break them, hammer home just how much energy is wasted to generate their wankbait and imaginary friends.
I really don't see how these companies can keep eating the operating costs to provide free access to this shit long-term, if they continue to be clueless about how to meaningfully monetize the stuff. I guess this is tech's all-in gamble to deal with a world where inflation and interest rates actually exist after having been free of that for a decade and a half.
