CHAZ/CHOP: Autonomous No Cop Zone and Commune Declared In Seattle - Render unto Warlord Raz what is owed to Warlord Raz

Dude fuck that. We should stand with Antifa to tear it all down so we can go on with our lives separately. This bullshit living with niggers and communists who want to kill us isnt working out

I am not helping to restore order for a political system that fucking hates me.

Fucking retard. All that would accomplish is further empowering commies who want to guillotine you. Do you write that while "taking a knee"? Fucksakes

Well it finally happened. One of my irl friends just dropped the "Oh you're opposed to CHOP and the protestors shutting down the highway? Well it's about sending a message and drawing attention to the issue!" line.
Pray for me, Kiwis.
Oh god, I've had people bitch at me because they asked my opinion about the guy who got blasted in Atlanta for firing a taser at the cop. I gave my honest opinion, and for some reason the same people who complained about tasers being dangerous and deadly now think tasers are non lethal and the cop was 100% guilty of murder. Ignoring of course that the cop is worried that if he gets knocked out the violent criminal will steal his gun and execute him as has happened before and will happen again sooner or later.

It's just narrative all the fucking time now with people, nobody thinks critically about anything

Have you considered killing yourself.

Somehow I doubt that Amazon and Boeing will be affected by this.

It's a payroll tax, so no, it will hardly affect Amazon as a whole and definitely not the truly wealthy like Bezos whose wealth is mostly in stock. It will just encourage tech companies to move positions out of the city.

Amazon, maybe, but Boeing won't be. Their HQ is in Everett, not Seattle.

Boeing's HQ is actually in Chicago. It moved from Seattle in 2001.

Their main factory is, Boeing Field is in Seattle.

Boeing Field is just named for the founder of Boeing. It is owned by King County, although Boeing does have facilities there.

No, their main factory is in Everett at/next to Paine Field. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_Everett_Factory

Boeing Field isn't even the official name either. It's King County International Airport.

Edit - Goddamn fucked this post up.

That's what I said.

Also, where is it "officially" King County International Airport?

Boeing Field, officially King County International Airport (IATA: BFI, ICAO: KBFI, FAA LID: BFI), is a public airport owned and operated by King County, five miles south of downtown Seattle, Washington.[1] The airport is sometimes referred to as KCIA (King County International Airport), but is not the airport identifier.

The Seattle City Council bends the knee again:

They're not bending the knee - this was their plan from before.

More immediately, as the economy reels from the coronavirus pandemic, money would help provide resources to small businesses, immigrants and refugees and people struggling to pay for rent and food. Moving forward, the plan would help fund more affordable housing, a dire need in the city as thousands of people are experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity every day. The plan is also prioritizing equitable development, addressing "systemic inequities and creating economic opportunities."

After 10 years, or if the county or state puts into place a similar tax, the city tax would sunset.

Considering this is the brainchild of Mosqueda and Sawant, it will obviously not reach actual small business. It will instead be siphoned off to different "organisations" who will put it in their coffers, fund more and more terrorism and only be dolled out to those who confirm their political bias.

Expedia seems like they're onboard, but it also sounds like they're not onboard.

The DSA is not on board, which is positive - “We continue to believe taxing jobs is bad public policy, and it’s especially ill-advised as we enter what is likely a deep recession and an unprecedented rise in unemployment,"

In regards to taxing Amazon - "Under that proposal, officials estimated the city could bring in about $500 million each year to go toward affordable housing and other issues."

Other issues means more graffiti, more "community right think patrols" and more "recovery" if their pet chimps freak out again.

Regardless, the comments are :heart-full: encouraging and would give a good cross section of "silent" Seattle...
